They will also take in feral kittens under the age of 11 weeks, when it is possible to socialise and domesticate them. Also, they will help trap and spay/neuter individual feral cats and return them to their home environment, helping to reduce the future stray population.

Little Cottage Rescue help with various rescues around the Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire area. Cat Welfare was established to help match unwanted cats to forever homes and caring humans. All cats that come into Cat Welfare will be assessed and where possible, neutered, flea treated and wormed before rehoming. Kittens will be rehomed with an agreement that new owners will be responsible for neutering at 4 - 5 months. Adoption fees rarely cover costs, so if you can help through donations of cat food, cat litter, or a nominal donation, it will help secure a place for a new cat or kitten in need.

TVAW is a small charity based in the Henley on Thames, Reading, and Maidenhead areas and aims to rehome its cats and kittens within approximately a 20 mile radius of Henley. Currently rehoming on average 400 plus cats per year - all cats are neutered when taken into the shelter. The Ark Cat Rescue is a small friendly rescue run solely by volunteers, with foster homes in Amersham, Chesham, Harrow, Luton, Milton Keynes, Baldock and surrounding areas. Ark cats and kittens are cared for in foster homes whilst they await new families. The Ark prides itself on having a sensible and friendly approach to homing and aims tomake finding a new family member an enjoyable experience.

The National Charity helping elderly and terminally ill people to look after their pets. The Cinnamon Trust’s UK wide network of dedicated Volunteers offer support, enabling pets and owners to stay together. They provide dog walking, pet food shopping, feeding, cleaning, and will foster pets when owners need hospital or respite care.
Please Note: The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in, but if a pet becomes bereaved they will take on their full time, life-long care.
