POUND KITTEN RESCUE
Based in Poole in Dorset, covering areas in: Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Isle of Wight. They rescue abandoned cats and kittens, caring for them in volunteer foster homes until they can be rehomed. Also helping dogs and occasionally other animals.
Cat Fosterers needed: Foster homes needed urgently in the Bournemouth and Poole area who can keep kittens for 2-3 weeks until they are old enough to be rehomed. Please e-mail us your location and phone number.

Rescuing and rehoming cats and kittens who come into their care, whether they are victims of abandonment, neglect or accidents. They also actively try to control the feral population on the island through a Trap, Neuter and Return programme (if there is a source of food and the environment is suitable for them) or by finding other suitable habitats for them. They raise funds all year round and attend various events throughout the Summer months as well as holding our own Summer and Christmas Fayres and Car Boot Sales. This is a small sanctuary, with a network of foster homes, operating under the code of practice set out by the Feline Advisory Bureau. All cats and kittens are tested for FIV/FELV before rehoming, as well as being fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. THE CINNAMON TRUST

The national charity for elderly people, and their much loved, much needed companion animals. A network of 8,000 volunteers “hold hands” with owners to provide vital loving care for their pets. The trust aims to keep them together - for example, by walking a dog every day for a housebound owner, fostering pets when owners need hospital care, fetching the cat food, or even cleaning the budgie's cage. And when a pet is bereaved the Trust takes on their full time, life time care.
Short-Term Foster Homes Needed: Temporary, short-term foster homes are needed to care for bereaved cats whilst a Lifelong Home is being found, and also for when people need a hospital stay and require temporary foster care for their cat. Please contact us if you could help.
Lifelong Foster Homes Needed: Lifelong Foster Homes are required for cats left in the care of The Trust. Future Veterinary fees will be paid by The Cinnamon Trust. Please contact as below if you could offer a home for life to a bereaved cat.
Please Note: The Trust is not a rescue centre taking cats in for homing, but when an elderly owner dies, and their animal companion is left in their care, the Trust will do their best to find a loving, life-long foster home for them.
