Based in Poole in Dorset, covering Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands. Rescuing abandoned cats and kittens, and caring for them in volunteer foster homes until they can be rehomed. Also helping dogs and occasionally other animals.
Cat Fosterers needed: Foster homes needed urgently in the Bournemouth and Poole area who can keep kittens for 2-3 weeks until they are old enough to be rehomed. Please e-mail us your location and phone number.
Pound Puppy Rescue can also be contacted as below - these are '8th day' dogs rescued in the nick of time before being put to sleep, so if you are seeking a canine companion, please give them a call, you will be saving another 8th day dog by doing so.

Rescuing and rehoming cats and kittens who come into their care, whether they are victims of abandonment, neglect or accidents. They also actively try to control the feral population on the island through a Trap, Neuter and Return programme (if there is a source of food and the environment is suitable for them) or by finding other suitable habitats for them. They raise funds all year round and attend various events throughout the Summer months as well as holding our own Summer and Christmas Fayres and Car Boot Sales. If you can offer a loving, permanent home to one or more of the cats in their care, please telephone, or drop them an email.

A small, self-funded rehoming centre at Wroxall (near Ventnor), Isle of Wight
All cats are neutered, blood tested for FIV and Felv, vaccinated and given a health check by their vet prior to homing. A home visit is carried out to all potential homes, and a follow up visit at a later date. Cats are only rehomed where there is catflap access into the house. Viewing is by appointment only.

The National Charity helping elderly and terminally ill people to look after their pets. The Cinnamon Trust’s UK wide network of dedicated Volunteers offer support, enabling pets and owners to stay together. They provide dog walking, pet food shopping, feeding, cleaning, and will foster pets when owners need hospital or respite care.
Please Note: The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in, but if a pet becomes bereaved they will take on their full time, life-long care.
Cat Fosterers Urgently Needed: The Cinnamon Trust are looking for volunteers throughout the UK who are pet free themselves, and can offer short-term foster homes to cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Please contact them as below, if you can help.
