BOLTON CAT RESCUE
Helping the neediest of cats in Bolton and surrounding areas, this organisation helps to rescue and rehabilitate abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens. Promoting responsible pet ownership, Bolton Cat Rescue will neuter any adult cat in their care prior to rehoming and provides discounted vouchers at specified vets for rehomed kittens. Their primary aim is to find permanent, loving homes for cats and kittens and will visit all potential adopters to ensure the right cat is matched to the right home. Bolton Cat Rescue also runs a 'rehome whilst at home' scheme, assisting owners who need to rehome their cats via advertising. This local charity is run solely by unpaid volunteers and relies on your donations. |

MOGGIES CAT RESCUE

Moggies is a small home-run cat rescue, averagely caring for between 12 and 20 cats at any one time.
Catfood and donations needed: Tins or sachets of cat food are always gratefully received, as are donations towards their huge vet bills, which can be as high as £1,000 per month. Also any good quality, unwanted items that could be sold to aid funds.

CATS IN CRISIS

Based in Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancs, the group resues, cares for and rehomes cats across the North West. They provide sanctuary for a number of 'Senior Kittizens' and long term sick and disabled cats and kittens, and they aim to re-home wherever possible. From time to time the group takes senior cats, and sometimes kittens to visit local schools to promote animal welfare, where they are spoilt rotten both by the children and the big kids (the teachers)!

FERAL CAT WELFARE
Based in Leeds, West Yorkshire (can rehome to Lancs).
Supporting stray and feral cats at site by providing food and shelter, bringing into care feral kittens in need of socialising and rehoming and relocating adults wherever possible if they are at risk. Educating and encouraging neutering of domestic cats to prevent and reduce the problem of feral kittens being born in the first place by targeting the problem at source. PENDLE CAT RESCUE

Covering Burnley Pendle & Colne and surrounding areas. Run by a family of volunteers, they rescue stray and abandoned cats and kittens including feral, and care for them in as homely an environment as possible until they can be re-homed. Working with the local police and vets to make a big difference to improving the life of the local kitty population. They also take in 'widowed' cats, sometimes keeping them permanently. THE CINNAMON TRUST

The national charity for elderly people, and their much loved, much needed companion animals. A network of 8,000 volunteers “hold hands” with owners to provide vital loving care for their pets. The trust aims to keep them together - for example, by walking a dog every day for a housebound owner, fostering pets when owners need hospital care, fetching the cat food, or even cleaning the budgie's cage. And when a pet is bereaved the Trust takes on their full time, life time care.
Short-Term Foster Homes Needed: Temporary, short-term foster homes are needed to care for bereaved cats whilst a Lifelong Home is being found, and also for when people need a hospital stay and require temporary foster care for their cat. Please contact us if you could help.
Lifelong Foster Homes Needed: Lifelong Foster Homes are required for cats left in the care of The Trust. Future Veterinary fees will be paid by The Cinnamon Trust. Please contact as below if you could offer a home for life to a bereaved cat.
Please Note: The Trust is not a rescue centre taking cats in for homing, but when an elderly owner dies, and their animal companion is left in their care, the Trust will do their best to find a loving, life-long foster home for them.
