They take-in and rehome unwanted, stray or abandoned cats and kittens - through a series of foster homes which they believe gives the cats and kittens a loving atmosphere to live in whilst "in transit". REDGATE FARM ANIMAL SANCTUARY
Founded in 1986, the sanctuary has helped a huge variety of sick and homeless animals over the years, finding new caring homes for some of them to go to, and becoming a permanent home to many others who cannot be rehomed. They rely completely on public support, including pet sponsorship, and the 'Friends of Redgate' membership scheme. The sanctuary is open to visitors, with wheelchair access, toilets, a cafe and shop.

THE CINNAMON TRUST

The National Charity helping elderly and terminally ill people to look after their pets. The Cinnamon Trust’s UK wide network of dedicated Volunteers offer support, enabling pets and owners to stay together. They provide dog walking, pet food shopping, feeding, cleaning, and will foster pets when owners need hospital or respite care.
Please Note: The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in, but if a pet becomes bereaved they will take on their full time, life-long care.
Cat Fosterers Urgently Needed: The Cinnamon Trust are looking for volunteers throughout the UK who are pet free themselves, and can offer short-term foster homes to cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Please contact them as below, if you can help.
