This small cat welfare group has been rescuing and rehoming cats and kittens since 1983, through a series of volunteer foster homes. The group also offers help with trapping, neutering and managing feral colonies. They operate a non-destruction policy, meaning that no healthy cat is ever destroyed. All cats over 6 months are neutered prior tohoming. All animals are micro-chipped prior to leaving the welfare.

Rescuing animals from cruelty, abuse, neglect, abandonment and sometimes owner relinquishment. All animals are rehabilitated, microchipped, vaccinated and given worm and flea treatment before they are re-homed. They will also be neutered before being adopted out, age and health permitting. If this isn't possible however, the new owners will have a contract to get the animal neutered as soon as it is safe to do so.

Rainbow Rescue is a small rescue, caring for troubled cats (behavioural issues, etc) and provide a safe environment for kittens and cats looking for a new home. Rescuing and rehoming animals in the Huthwaite area of Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire for over 20 years. All cats will be neutered prior to rehoming. No kittens are rehomed before the age of 8 weeks. The National Charity helping elderly and terminally ill people to look after their pets. The Cinnamon Trust’s UK wide network of dedicated Volunteers offer support, enabling pets and owners to stay together. They provide dog walking, pet food shopping, feeding, cleaning, and will foster pets when owners need hospital or respite care.
Please Note: The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in, but if a pet becomes bereaved they will take on their full time, life-long care.
