They take in stray & unwanted cats, kittens, rabbits & guinea pigs and find them good, caring, approved homes. The animals are cared for by fosterers until new homes are found. BARKS receives no grants or funding, so all costs are covered by adoption fees, donations & fundraising.

Sunshine Cat Rescue take in and provide foster care for stray and unwanted cats, ensuring their wellbeing until a good home can be found. They are also concerned about the welfare of feral cats, operating a Trap, Neuter and Replace scheme. This contains the size of colonies on farms and industrial premises. All their cats are neutered prior to rehoming if they are old enough; young kittens will only be rehomed on the condition that they are neutered as soon as possible. TVAW is a small charity based in the Henley on Thames, Reading, and Maidenhead areas and aims to rehome its cats and kittens within approximately a 20 mile radius of Henley. Currently rehoming on average 400 plus cats per year - all cats are neutered when taken into the shelter. The work of the charity is undertaken entirely by volunteers and they are completely dependent on donations to fund their work.

The National Charity helping elderly and terminally ill people to look after their pets. The Cinnamon Trust’s UK wide network of dedicated Volunteers offer support, enabling pets and owners to stay together. They provide dog walking, pet food shopping, feeding, cleaning, and will foster pets when owners need hospital or respite care.
Please Note: The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in, but if a pet becomes bereaved they will take on their full time, life-long care.
