CAT RESCUE & REHOMING CENTRES - OXFORDSHIRE

BANBURY ANIMAL RESCUE AND KINDNESS SERVICE (B.A.R.K.S.)
Registered Charity no. 1064556
Banbury Animal Rescue & Kindness Service is a volunteer run animal rescue & re-homing organisation covering North Oxfordshire & parts of Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire & Warwickshire. They take in stray & unwanted cats, kittens, rabbits & guinea pigs and find them good, caring, approved homes. The animals are cared for by fosterers until approved homes are found for them. Prospective adopters are subject to a home visit and once approved an appointment to visit the foster homes to view and hopefully adopt one or more of the cats or kittens available, can be arranged. The adoption fees are £40 for a cat and £35 for a kitten, (a £15 non-refundable deposit is required if you wish to reserve a cat or kitten). It costs approximately £30,000 per year to run the foster homes but with no grants or funding, all costs are covered by adoption fees, donations & fundraising. If you are interested in adopting or reserving any of the cats or kittens available for adoption, or would like to help at any of our fundraising events, please call: 07787 406915.

LOCAL ANIMALS IN NEED
The 'Senior Kittizens' arm of NANNA' Small Animal Rescue’, Northants, Charity Number 1115238.
Based in Charlton, near Brackley, Oxon.
Local Animals In Need have many older cats looking for the last chance of their life! All their 'golden oldies' are cared for in a normal, loving domestic envoronment until new homes can be found, but what they really want is a home of their own for their retirement years. If you feel you would like to offer a home to one or two older cats then please call or email as below.. All cats are neutered prior to being rehomed, and are house trained and well adjusted to family life. Good, permanent homes always needed!
Donations needed: Local Animals in Need / Nanna's Small Animal Rescue is a small under-funded Charity, and as the number of animals coming into care is increasing, they are always grateful for any assistance towards the care of the cats.

THE CINNAMON TRUST
Registered Charity no: 293399
The national charity for elderly people, and their much loved, much needed companion animals. A network of 8,000 volunteers “hold hands” with owners to provide vital loving care for their pets. The trust aims to keep them together - for example, by walking a dog every day for a housebound owner, fostering pets when owners need hospital care, fetching the cat food, or even cleaning the budgie's cage. And when a pet is bereaved the Trust takes on their full time, life time care.
Short-Term Foster Homes Needed: Temporary, short-term foster homes are needed to care for bereaved cats whilst a Lifelong Home is being found, and also for when people need a hospital stay and require temporary foster care for their cat. Please contact us if you could help.
Lifelong Foster Homes Needed: Lifelong Foster Homes are required for cats left in the care of The Trust. Future Veterinary fees will be paid by The Cinnamon Trust. Please contact as below if you could offer a home for life to a bereaved cat.
Please Note: The Trust is not a rescue centre taking cats in for homing, but when an elderly owner dies, and their animal companion is left in their care, the Trust will do their best to find a loving, life-long foster home for them.
