Ferne Animal Sanctuary provides care and refuge for unwanted domestic & farm animals. They rely entirely on donations & legacies to continue their work. The animals are at Ferne Sanctuary because they have been neglected or are unwanted, or because of the circumstantial changes of their owners. All animals are given the care, attention & TLC they need to enjoy a happy life while they are at Ferne. Cats and kittens are available for rehoming to loving permanent homes. The Cat Action Trust works towards making a better life for all cats with a particular interest in feral / farm cats. In addition to the rehoming work this Branch supports the trapping and neutering of farm and feral cats in line with the Cat Action Trust policy of 'Control Without Killing'. Some of these cats are available for homing to farms or stables and will work in return for shelter, food and care. All the cats which come into the charity's care are neutered, health checked, treated for fleas, worms and any health problems.

West Hatch care for and re-home a vast array of animals, from mice, rats, gerbils, etc. to cats, dogs, birds and horses. They rehome on average 2,000 animals per year. The cattery holds 72 cats, and is nearly always full, so your chances of finding the perfect cat for you are very good indeed. The National Charity helping elderly and terminally ill people to look after their pets. The Cinnamon Trust’s UK wide network of dedicated Volunteers offer support, enabling pets and owners to stay together. They provide dog walking, pet food shopping, feeding, cleaning, and will foster pets when owners need hospital or respite care.
Please Note: The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in, but if a pet becomes bereaved they will take on their full time, life-long care.
