BRISTOL & WALES CAT RESCUE
Covering Bristol and surrounding areas - rehoming within a 50 mile radius of Bristol (may go further for the right home).
Rescuing and rehoming cats from rural Wales where resources and new homes are very scarce. They work closely with Welsh charities such as Many Tears Rescue nr Llanelli and Cat Action Trust in Pembrokeshire to rescue unwanted cats and kittens and to find them loving, forever homes in Bristol and its surroundings (up to 50 mile radius but they can be flexible if the home is right).

West Hatch care for and re-home a vast array of animals, from mice, rats, gerbils, etc. to cats, dogs, birds and horses. They rehome on average 2,000 animals per year. The cattery holds 72 cats, and is nearly always full, so your chances of finding the perfect cat for you are very good indeed. The Cat Action Trust was formed to address humanely the problem of the increasing feral cat population. They live and work by the motto 'Control without Killing'.
The Trust organises the neutering of feral cats, and where possible, the taming of feral kittens for re-homing, as well as homing some domesticated cats. Feral cats are sometimes available for homing to farms or stables.

THE CINNAMON TRUST

The national charity for elderly people, and their much loved, much needed companion animals. A network of 8,000 volunteers “hold hands” with owners to provide vital loving care for their pets. The trust aims to keep them together - for example, by walking a dog every day for a housebound owner, fostering pets when owners need hospital care, fetching the cat food, or even cleaning the budgie's cage. And when a pet is bereaved the Trust takes on their full time, life time care.
Short-Term Foster Homes Needed: Temporary, short-term foster homes are needed to care for bereaved cats whilst a Lifelong Home is being found, and also for when people need a hospital stay and require temporary foster care for their cat. Please contact us if you could help.
Lifelong Foster Homes Needed: Lifelong Foster Homes are required for cats left in the care of The Trust. Future Veterinary fees will be paid by The Cinnamon Trust. Please contact as below if you could offer a home for life to a bereaved cat.
Please Note: The Trust is not a rescue centre taking cats in for homing, but when an elderly owner dies, and their animal companion is left in their care, the Trust will do their best to find a loving, life-long foster home for them.
