Ty-Nant Cat Sanctuary was established in 1990, and since then, hundreds of cats & kittens have passed through their care. Based in Haverfordwest, Green Acres is a small non profit making rescue in the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside. They endevour to help any animal that is in need and operate a no kill policy. They work mainly with dogs and cats, but do deal with other animals. Their main priority is saving pound dogs. They recieve no financial backing and rely on fundraising and donations.

Based in Brynamman, this rescue centre is involved in the rescue and re-homing of animals from around South Wales. Porthcawl Animal Welfare Society (P.A.W.S.) is dedicated to helping unwanted or abandoned animals. Cats are housed in a small cattery in Bridgend and dogs are housed in kennels in Porthcawl. Animals are assessed, and home visits are made to all prospective owners. All animals are vaccinated and micro-chipped and all animals over six months are neutered or spayed. In addition to its rehoming work, PAWS also trap and neuter feral cats, prior to release into managed colonies. The charity is funded largely by a shop in Porthcawl.

The National Charity helping elderly and terminally ill people to look after their pets. The Cinnamon Trust’s UK wide network of dedicated Volunteers offer support, enabling pets and owners to stay together. They provide dog walking, pet food shopping, feeding, cleaning, and will foster pets when owners need hospital or respite care.
Please Note: The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in, but if a pet becomes bereaved they will take on their full time, life-long care.
