Cats and kittens are always available for rehoming to loving permanent homes. The Cat Action Trust works towards making a better life for all cats with a particular interest in feral / farm cats. In addition to the rehoming work, this Branch traps and neuters farm and feral cats in line with the Cat Action Trust policy of 'Control Without Killing'. Some of these cats are available for homing to farms or stables and will work in return for shelter, food and care. All the cats which come into the charity's care are neutered, health checked, treated for fleas, worms and any health problems.
Volunteer Fosterers Needed: If you have a spare room, or space for an indoor fostering pen, or garden space for a cat cabin and run, please consider fostering cats & kittens between homes. Contact the branch for more information.
Support Shop: Good quality clothes / bric-a-brac and other saleable items always needed to raise funds in the charity shop in St Clears (Pentre Road). Volunteers welcome!

MANY TEARS ANIMAL RESCUE
Taking in and rehoming primarily ex-breeding dogs on "death row" in the pounds and those whose owners are no longer able to keep them.  They also have a small cattery which enables them to take in emergency cases for cats.

ELLESMERE ANIMAL RESCUE CENTRE

This is a small animal rescue, helping cats, and other small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters etc. Also, bottle feeding, fostering and rehoming young puppies and kittens. The rescue is entirely self-funded, and relies on the generosity of the public to enable them to carry on helping animals. In addition to rescuing and rehoming domestic cats, they also help feral cats, socialising and rehoming the kittens where posisble.

TRALLWM FARM ANIMAL SANCTUARY
Trallwm farm in Carmarthen, South Wales rescues, cares for and where possible rehomes a wide variety of animals: horses, cattle, goats, loads of pigs, chickens, ducks, etc. as well as dogs and cats. Most animals that arrive at the sanctuary are traumatized so they become permanent residents, although they aim to re-home any animals they can where possible, to loving, responsible new owners.

THE CINNAMON TRUST

The National Charity helping elderly and terminally ill people to look after their pets. The Cinnamon Trust’s UK wide network of dedicated Volunteers offer support, enabling pets and owners to stay together. They provide dog walking, pet food shopping, feeding, cleaning, and will foster pets when owners need hospital or respite care.
Please Note: The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in, but if a pet becomes bereaved they will take on their full time, life-long care.
Cat Fosterers Urgently Needed: The Cinnamon Trust are looking for volunteers throughout the UK who are pet free themselves, and can offer short-term foster homes to cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Please contact them as below, if you can help.
