Re: Overwhelming grief
I lost one of my cats in December 2004 (road traffic accident - well actually it was a man over the road from me driving up our quiet residential street way too fast) and if I think about him a lot I can very easily feel the grief, pain and loss I felt all that time ago. It is under a week since you...

What a beautiful boy Charlie looks, and how awful that you have not found him. Although over a year has passed and you have probably done some of the things advised on the link below, it would be worth trying again. http://www.catchat.org/lost.html Keep us posted and I do hope that you have some pos...

Re: Has my cat had a stroke?
So sorry to hear this. A diagnosis at any age can be very distressing, so with Pudding being 19 I can imagine you must be very shocked indeed. Thinking of you, and Pudding too.

Re: Very nervous rescue kittens
You will need to be very patient with both kittens and let them come to you. Eventually they will. I adopted a cat who was 18 months old and who hid under the bed in our spare room for 2 weeks when he first got him, only coming out at night when we were in bed. Even now 11 years later I cannot pick ...

Re: 4 CATS FROM BOSTON IN SERIOUS TROUBLE!!!
In my experience the RSPCA are very "selective" about the help they provide.
There are various re-homing places in your area http://www.catchat.org/adoption/lincs.html so maybe ring round a few that are local and see if they can help.

Karenanne - what a lovely thing to do.
I too lost one of my boys 2 weeks ago and he has a place in the garden but I see him all over the house as well. I might do that myself.

Re: Someone please help - Cat Diarrhoea Probelms
A change of food can sometimes bring on this problem as can food that is way too rich. I fed mine Applaws and it made one have a very bad stomach upset - liquid - if that's not too descriptive. I did contact Applaws who said it could be the very high meat content, which it turns out was correct. Sin...

Re: DC missing since 27th Sept.2015 SE9 3LN
No need to apologise for your rant - I didn't see it as that, not at all and can only imagine how distressed you feel. I would be inclined to put more flyers up and ask at your local food shop if you could put one up in there as it could be that someone took him in and has not seen your flyers. Very...

Re: When is the right time?
Firstly I am sorry to hear of your loss. I re-homed two older cats some years ago. A brother and sister who were 7 and 9 respectively. I went to the rescue centre to get another cat but as these two were to be homed together I got a pair :) They were the most beautiful cats and lived until they were...

Re: DC missing since 27th Sept.2015 SE9 3LN
Sorry to hear your cat is still missing. Have you contacted local vets and asked if they have any news, contacted local cat rescues, put flyers up in the local area and ask neighbours and in local shops? All worth a try. I lost one of my cats some time ago and put flyers up. Got a call from an elder...

Re: Struggling to Rehome 19 yr old cat
Reading your post I am not sure whether it is genuine or not as I cannot believe a cat lover with a 19 year old cat would ever consider trying to re-home their cat at this grand age (or any age for that matter). If you are genuine then please don't take my response the wrong way. Is your wish to hav...

What a beautiful girl she is.
Have you had a thorough look round your area, knocked on neighbour's doors to see if they have any information, put flyers up, asked in local shops?
I hope you get some good news soon.

Re: Very Sudden Passing
Thank you for your lovely replies. Unfortunately losing a beautiful cat is not new to me, in fact since August 2014 I have lost three (including dear Emerson) but the shock and pain is the same with each one because I loved them so much. My garden is like a Pet Cemetery

Very Sudden Passing
I lost my beautiful boy Emerson yesterday morning(30 January). He was a big 3 year old (or thereabouts) and in seemingly good health. I had only had him since the end of August 2015, having got him from a local rescue centre. On Friday he was rushing around as normal, playing with toys and charging ...

What a beautiful boy, and look at his poor mouth in the last picture. I found reading your posts heartbreaking, poor sweet Bob. I lost one of my boys yesterday - totally unexpected. He wasn't ill and I have no idea why he passed away but once again I find myself grieving for another lost boy. So so...

Re: Cat in garden - Help!!
This chap may not necessarily be feral. He could just be scared. You say he's been in your house several times - could you lock the cat flap to prevent him doing this any more? I have just Googled "cat shelters in Birmingham" and it brought a fair few up. Have you considered putting flyers...
