Cat friendly cottage offered...

Post by AndyK »

Hello.

We're looking to offer a home to a cat, cats, kitten or kittens in NE16.

We're hoping for a longhaired / chinchilla / maine coon / bundle(s) of fur type addition to the family.

Our house is clean, quiet and warm. We live in a very quiet location, well away from traffic and have a nice, interesting garden. There's a catflap leading to a utility room for a litter tray and there's even a well established vets pracitice fifty yards away.

We've got no other pets, no kids and are very experienced cat lovers.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Have you tried the pedigree rescues, as you are obviously longhaired cat fans. If you google say, Chinchilla cat rescue, or any other breed you like, and see what you come up with, though be prepared to travel; there may not be a specialised rescue in your area. Good luck.

Hi Lilith,

We've seen a beautiful chinchilla Persian in our area, but have yet to receive a response from the cat rescue centre who have him, so we're keeping our options open. I saw a post from someone who had a maine coon available, but I'm new here and not sure how to approach her.

If you click on their user name it should come up with their profile, and on there should be an option to send an email/message to them.

Good luck in your search! :)

hi, I missed your previous post but I'm not good with computer stuff lol.

Having an idle moment I've been googling the rescues myself - and fell in love with a - wait for it - tortie point ragdoll - aahh! somewhere down south...Now to say i'm not really into longhairs is an understatement (all that brushing, I don't even brush me; I have dreads lol and the two of my cats who like brushing don't really get enough but this ragdoll was BREATHTAKING!) BUT have found this site in West Yorks which isn't exactly local for you but I'm posting it just in case -

Good luck with your search :)

Hi Andy,
We are sadly looking to rehoming our 2 maine coons. ( no fault of the cats, but unfortunately my own personal problems) A beautiful young neutered male and neutered female . I was taken by your post as I am determined to find a loving permanent home for them. I don't know whether they would be of interest to you but if so, I can tell you more about them. I have not posted them for sale anywhere as I am trying to make sure that they go to a really good home by other means. I have not posted here before. Are you able to e-mail me ? Kind regards Michelle

Hi Michelle,

I'll be delighted to email you. Thanks for making contact. If it happens that they come to be with us, they'll certainly be loved.

Andy.
