Post surgery

Post by JoyM »

My cat has had surgery on her paw for a de-gloving injury to the top.of her paw and between her toes. It has not been possible to stitch/close the wound. Today is day 3 after surgery and she is shaking the leg a lot today is this because she is in pain or because of the bandage?

Poor love. Do check with the vet if you're at all concerned but my guess - and it is a guess - would be more bandage than pain. I presume the vet put her on pain killing and antibiotic medications?
