Soft cat treats?

Post by VioletOblivia »

Hi all,

Poor Luna needs another tooth out. She had been shaking her head again and on taking her to the free clinic, the vet found that one of her teeth was broken. She only had one taken out late last year, though was because of a hole in her tooth where the gum had come through. I'm concerned that her treats might be to blame as she only eats wet food. She loves Dreamies! I give her the anti-hairball ones but only 5 in the morning and when I brush her, I reward her with 4 of one of the other flavoured ones. I'm not giving her loads. I'm not sure if she just has bad teeth or if it's the treats but I want to help her as much as I can. Teeth brushing isn't an option. I can only just get away with brushing her fur or trimming her butt fur if she's got a bad stomach. She doesn't take kindly to anything like that even when I have a firm grip on her. Any recommendations for me please?

Thanks in advance,

Lou
