Tabitha has been missing since the morning of Friday, 29 September 2017. She went missing once before, for three weeks in early 2016, when she was taken by a commuter who thought she was homeless. She has also been known to jump on trains and end up at stations along the route towards London and Ashford but she has not been seen at any of the stations this time.

Tabitha is a smallish, brown tabby, aged about nine years and is chipped. She spends most of her time at the station and practically lives there though she has a home nearby, and is a very much-loved and much-missed member of the local community.

Tabitha has been found. She was handed into vets in the village one station down the line (it isn't the first time this smalltown girl has taken the midnight train going anywhere!) but her chip was showing the wrong details, despite only having been updated a less than two years ago. Her owners picked up this morning.
