looking for an indoor cat - north west

Hi,

I live in a flat on a busy road so for obvious reason cannot have an outdoor cat. But I don't feel a house is a home until I have a cat so would love to adopt an indoor cat - preferably one with a disability because it makes me feel so sad that some cats are overlooked


Please message me if you have a cat or know of any cats who want a loving home for the rest of their lives.

I live in the northwest of England and currently don't have any pets.

I am amazed that you haven't had any replies. There must be lots of cats in your area looking for a home. I am in Kent, so not familiar with which ones are local to you.

Such a shame as you are offering to take a harder to home cat.

Hi Natalie, not sure where about in north west you are but lots of cats desperate for homes in Freshfield animal rescue centre. That's where I got mine. I wanted to bring them all home.

I think I maybe able to help if you would consider taking in two? We are having to rehome our two housecats but they would need to go together. They are both "fixed" and loving once they get to know you but are shy at first. Since my little boy has learnt to get them they are not happy and I feel bad cause they are not getting all the cuddles and time they need. Let me know if you would like to know anymore.

Hi,
I picked up a starving ginger kitten who was near death a couple of weeks ago. He is now doing really, really well, looks like a kitten not a hat rack and looking for a special home - he is about 18 weeks old. He tested negative for FeLV and FIV but vet thinks he may have calici virus as his teeth are bad and will need removing which should be easy enough when he goes to be neutered. The vet tells me that if it is calici virus, his life won't be shortened but there may be a possibility of flu like symptoms in the future if he gets stressed, eg, house move and he would probably need a course of antibiotics. His heart and lungs checked fine at the vets. I have started him on a homeopathic remedy for calici which should help.
He is a lovely little man with lots of love to give. He isn't as active as a kitten his age should be but is steadily getting stronger. His heart and lungs checked fine at the vets.
He will come with his basket, cat mats, litter tray and homeopathic medicine.
We are located in the M22 area, just near Manchester Airport
