| Cat Chat's 'Founding Felines', Gemini and (the
late) George on some of their famous travels together... |
It's all greek to us!
So this is Athens, and here's us soaking up some history. The
local cats told us this is called the Parthenon, but then they
were speaking greek. It's extremely old, older in fact than Marmaduke
cat up the road. Now that's old.
Loads of people took our picture while we were sitting here, anyone would think
we were famous or something!

Winter Wonderland
I'd heard about these big birds called penguins
that can't fly, so I came here to look for some. I figured they'd
be dead easy to catch, but didn't realise how slippery the ice
would be! I tried chasing them, but I kept skidding around all
over the place. I fell in the water once, it was even colder
than our pond! Brrrrrr!
I'm going somewhere warmer next time!

Pussycat, Pussycat, where have you been?
This was my first 'Going Large' experience.I went to London
to see the Queen, but I couldn't get past this guard and his
magnificent horse!
Look at the size of those hooves, I wasn't
going to argue with them, I can tell you! Still, I did get
to chase loads of pigeons in Trafalgar Square!

Sheer
Luxor-y
This is Egypt, and here's
me having a ball in the Avenue of the Sphinxes in Luxor.
Gemini stayed in the hotel that day because she found a couple of cat lovers
who kept feeding her prawns
out of their salad. All that way and all she can think about is her stomach,
typical!

Rumbled in the Jungle
We went to Kenya to see the BIG cats, but we weren't prepared
for this. We thought it was big grey building and went to lay
down in its shade - then it moved! George was so startled he
couldn't even wail, now that's a first!
It's a good job we can
run fast!

Tabbies and Turbans
I've always wanted to go to India, I'm very spiritual under
all this fur! Here I am at the spectacular Peacock Gate at the
fort in the pink city of Jaipur. It was far too hot for poor
little George, so he only went sightseeing at night!
They're mostly vegetarians in India, so I had a job finding
somewhere that could do me a nice bit of meat. I discovered I
rather like curries though, so I'll be first in line for the
leftovers next time our folks have a take-away!

Walking the Wall
Gemini and her curries got me thinking. I prefer Chinese myself,
so I thought I'd go and check out the real thing. The Great Wall
of China, almost as famous as me and Gemini, I've been told.
I got here early in the morning before all those tourists! It's ever so long,
this wall. I'd love to know who's garden it belongs to because it's got to
be the biggest garden in the world!
I loved the food too, but I never did get the hang of chopsticks!
