Based in Melrose, covering the Scottish Borders Region (South East). Providing shelter, care and rehoming facilities for all types of animals, mainly cats and dogs. there are always many cats needing loving, permanent homes. Prior to being rehomed, all cats are neutered and vaccinated. A home suitability check will also be carried out prior to adoption, to ensure the perfect match for the cat and owner.

Lothian Cat Rescue

Covering Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife. Lothian Cat Rescue is a registered charity formed in 1978 to help cats and kittens that have been abandoned, ill-treated, neglected or are unwanted for any reason. They currently rescue, rehabilitate and rehome around 1000 cats and kittens each year. All adult cats are neutered before rehoming.

Cinnamon Trust - Homes Needed UK Wide
Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Permanent homes needed for cats whose owners have died or who are no longer able to care for them. The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in.
