Ark Cat Rescue

The Ark Cat Rescue is a small friendly rescue run solely by volunteers, with foster homes in Amersham, Chesham, Harrow, Luton, Milton Keynes, Baldock and surrounding areas. Ark cats and kittens are cared for in foster homes whilst they await new families. Banbury Animal Rescue and Kindness Service (B.A.R.K.S.)

Rescuing and rehoming in North Oxfordshire & parts of Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire & Warwickshire. They take in stray & unwanted cats, kittens, rabbits & guinea pigs and find them good, caring, approved homes. The animals are cared for by fosterers until new homes are found. Prospective adopters are subject to a home visit and an adoption fee is payable, (a non-refundable deposit is required if you wish to reserve a cat or kitten). BARKS receives no grants or funding, so all costs are covered by adoption fees, donations & fundraising.

Volunteers Needed: More helpers are needed for fundraising events, e.g. bingo nights, jumble sales, car boots, toy tombolas and store collections.
Donations Needed: Good quality books, games, clothes, bric-a-brac etc. always needed for fundraising, and of course any donations of money are always much appreciated.

Blue Cross - Hertfordshire Rehoming Centre

Rehoming cats, dogs, rabbits and ponies across Herts, Bucks and Beds.
As part of the oldest animal welfare charities, the centre is backed up by years of experience in rehoming animals successfully. Their dedicated animal behaviour team assess the individual personalities of animals and address any behavioural problems before rehoming. Potential owners are also 'screened' to ensure that they are matched to just the right pet for them. Cats and dogs are vet checked, wormed, de-flead, microchipped and neutered before rehoming.

Cat & Kitten Rescue

Taking in and caring for unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens and finding them kind and loving responsible homes. The rescue provides a rescue and rehoming service for cats and kittens, plus a trapping and neutering service for feral cats. They will also take in feral kittens under the age of 11 weeks, when it is possible to socialise and domesticate them. Also, they will help trap and spay/neuter individual feral cats and return them to their home environment, helping to reduce the future stray population.

Cat Welfare (Luton)

Cat Welfare was established to help match unwanted cats to forever homes and caring humans. All cats that come into Cat Welfare will be assessed and where possible, neutered, flea treated and wormed before rehoming. Kittens will be rehomed with an agreement that new owners will be responsible for neutering at 4 - 5 months. Adoption fees rarely cover costs, so if you can help through donations of cat food, cat litter, or a nominal donation, it will help secure a place for a new cat or kitten in need.
Please Note: Cat Welfare (Luton) is a small rescue with limited space. We prioritise ferals, hand rears, sick and injured cats and kittens.

Thames Valley Animal Welfare

Cinnamon Trust - Homes Needed UK Wide
Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care.
