Animal Concern Cumbria - North Lakes & Solway Branch

Registered Charity no: 513091
Based in Carlisle, covering north Cumbria and South West Scotland. The charity rescues and rehomes cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, chinchillas and poultry and occasionally farm animals. A home visit is carried out prior to adoption, and a donation is expected, to help towards their continuing work.
Senior Kittizens: The branch has many lovely mature mogs in their care, longing for a comfy retirement home. Could you adopt an older cat, or perhaps become a long-term fosterer for a golden oldie?

Eskdale & District CP care for between 40 and 80 cats at any one time, and helping around 1,000 cats in total each year! They cover areas from Moffat to Longtown, and from Hawick to the outskirts of Dumfries. Cinnamon Trust - Homes Needed UK Wide
Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Permanent homes needed for cats whose owners have died or who are no longer able to care for them. The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in.
