All the animals taken into the cattery have either been abandoned, abused or neglected. Animal Aid feel it is their duty to help these cats who are in so much need of love and attention. Cat Rescue, Boldheath

Cat Homing Page for Cat Rescue BoldheathAn organisation run totally by volunteers, rescuing and rehoming cats in the Northwest. All our cats are neutered, vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms before homing. The group rescues and rehomes both domestic and feral cats. Freshfields Animal Rescue Centre

Freshfields, in Liverpool is home to cats, and many other animals. They rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome over 1400 animals and birds every year and have a genuine non-destruction policy: Any animal they cannot rehome or place in foster homes, end up being cared for at the rescue for life. Freshfields also offer practical advice and financial help (where possible) with feral cat colonies on Mersyside.
Indoor Cats: Freshfields is always looking for loving indoor homes for FIV cats who are otherwise healthy - could you help?

Founded in 1966, the society is run by volunteers, averagely rehoming around 100 cats and 100 dogs each year. Farms / Stables: Good homes always needed for feral cats and kittens, such as on farms or at stables. In return for daily food and shelter, they will look after the barn and the mice!
Protect a Puss Scheme: The sanctuary always has a number of long term cats who for various reasons canot be re-homed, and the Protect a Puss sponsorship scheme helps pay for their food, litter and veterinary bills. You can sponsor a cat in this way as an individual, school, club, or company.

Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care.
