Cat Action Trust - Somerset Branch

Cats and kittens are available for rehoming to loving permanent homes. The Cat Action Trust works towards making a better life for all cats with a particular interest in feral / farm cats. In addition to the rehoming work this Branch supports the trapping and neutering of farm and feral cats in line with the Cat Action Trust policy of 'Control Without Killing'. Some of these cats are available for homing to farms or stables and will work in return for shelter, food and care. All the cats which come into the charity's care are neutered, health checked, treated for fleas, worms and any health problems.

Covering areas around Frome in Somerset, and also Warminster and Westbury in Wiltshire and parts of Avon. On average, they rescue and rehome over 100 homeless or unwanted cats every year. All cats are neutered and treated for fleas and worms prior to rehoming.

RSPCA - West Hatch Animal Centre

West Hatch care for and re-home a vast array of animals, from mice, rats, gerbils, etc. to cats, dogs, birds and horses. They rehome on average 2,000 animals per year. The cattery holds 72 cats, and is nearly always full, so your chances of finding the perfect cat for you are very good indeed. Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care.
