Remembrance Gallery
Remembering with love, those special cats who have left pawprints on your heart.
This gallery of remembrance was set up following the loss of our dear George Cat (right), one of the founding felines of the Cat Chat Charity, and a very special little rascal!
This page is a place to remember your much loved cats, but also a way to pay a real tribute to them, by helping other cats in need. Therefore, we ask for a small donation to place your tribute here. Tributes will remain on the remembrance gallery for a minimum of a year.

Simba
25/7/2006 to 1/7/2011
Simba our beautiful, majestic Bengal. You were totally mischevious, always getting into scrapes. You were well known in the neighbourhood often inviting yourself into their houses and befriending their cats and dogs! You were noisy and craved attention, enjoying sitting on our laps and playing alongside us in the garden. You had even accompanied your 'brother' Jeremy on his paper round but soon got bored. We were devastated to lose you so suddenly on that fateful summer's day. We love you and miss you dearly.
Rest in Peace.
Nick, Peng, Jeremy and Robin. |

Remembering Misty
I can't believe it's 4 years since you left us. I still miss you so much and now Sammie has joined you and I scattered her ashes with yours in my favourite spot.
My home seems so empty and lonely without you both. I know that a new cat will arrive at the rescue centre one of these days and we'll be perfect for each other, just like you and Sammie were.
Of course I'll always remember you... |

In Beloved Memory of Monty & Max - Our Handsome Boys
March 1999 to July / August 2009
2 years have passed since we said "Good-bye" but our memories of you both will never die.
You gave us 10 wonderful years of love, joy and happiness, so your passing left an enormous hole in our lives.
Some cats come into our lives and quickly go, some stay longer and leave paw-prints on our hearts forever - and will never be forgotten.
Until we meet again, our darling boys,
Mum and Dad. |

In Loving Memory of Henry
July 2002 to October 2011
Our beautiful Hen Pen chose us in 2003. As soon as she came home she was in charge and we changed our lives to suit her. We have had a wonderful 8 years with her and are heartbroken. She sadly passed away after a short illness, kidney failure. She was the first cat we had and we never realised how much love and affection a cat can give.
We will love you forever darling girl. We will see you at Rainbow Bridge.
Love Mummy, Daddy, Bernadette, Shane and Twix. |

In Memory Of Bandit
1990 – 2005
You were a stray, creeping through the cat flap at night to steal the food intended for our resident cat, Monster. He didn’t like you (chased you into our fish pond once) but you were absolutely determined you were going to live with us, having spent years living rough in neighbouring gardens.
I absolutely loved you and I received shed loads of affection in return – a constant companion, sitting beside the computer as I worked, on my lap as I read and on the bed as I slept. When I was ill you stayed with me night and day.
It’s been a long time now since I had to say goodbye but your memory is as clear as the photographs on my study wall.
I still miss you so much, my Bandit. |

In Memory Of Toby
1999 – 2009
Our dearest Toby – never have we needed you more with us than over the last six months.
We all miss and love you so very much. Please keep watching over us from Rainbow Bridge.
Thinking of you everyday.

Brandy
Feb 1995 to 5 May 2011
You came as a mischievous rescue kitten and grew into the most kind adoring and lovable cat.
Your mate Bramble misses you each day and often looks around for you, especially in your special place on the sofa, where you never allowed him to sit. Like Bramble, we miss your presence and little rubs against the legs. Many furry presents were deposited in your early years, especially rabbits which you always left half to share with your mate Bramble.
You knew when I was ill and comforted me through illness. I knew when you had got into trouble with other cats in the Lane when we shared our quiet trips to the vet. We miss you every day until we reunite at Rainbow Bridge, God bless.
Brandy, Brandy Bubbles, Bubs for short.
All our love Mom & Dad Bramble & the rest of the Gang |

Remembering Sammy
Who went to Rainbow Bridge in August 2005
You came into our lives as a stray and were so frightened and thin that you wouldn't even come near us when we left food out for you for a year and lived under the holly bush. Gradually we won your trust and you moved in to live with us. You made our lives complete and we were happy and honoured that you chose to come to be with us as our darling
companion. You were such a fine cat, and a real gentleman.
So loved and longed for always darling Sam.
Until we meet again.

Molly
1995 - 2011
In celebration of the life of our beautiful Molly Dingle who departed on 15th July, 2011.
She brought us so much happiness and laughter; her warm silky ears and velvety nose, little black beans and furry slippers, the desire to sit on anything clean, the furious rubbing of her cheeks on unscented corners, her funny peepo chirrups!
Home isn't the same without her, we miss her so much. I hope she is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed once more and maybe (hopefully!) we will meet again. We will re-home another cat but we will never forget you Miss-Molly, we will miss you every single day...

To My Little “Son” Desmond Tutu
20th August 2008 – 12th July 2011
Sorry baby, Mummy knows you don't want to leave this house, but Mummy never thought you chose this way to let us know that you want to stay and this is your home forever – you back to your home finally. It's too early to say goodbye like this. You are the angel God gave to us and it's the time to go back. We can’t image this three years’ life without you. You know how much we love you – funny, cute, kind, friendly, happy, vigour, innocent and sensitive, my little “son”.
Wishing you happy every day at Rainbow Bridge same like at your house, please forgive mummy and we'll come to pick you later.
Thousands of kisses. |

Beauty (Nov 1995 - July 2011)
Goodbye beautiful one, from the moment you arrived as a kitten we knew you were special. We have had almost 16 years of Joy with you, from all the "presents" you brought home for us, to protecting your property and sisters from all the cats in the street, to adopting your new Mummy and making sure she was safe on Bonfire night. We will miss being summoned at 5am for feeding, for being told to open the front door, even if the back door was open, for being told to get off the chair, as you decided it was yours.
You will be always and forever in our hearts and minds. Play well with your sisters on the Bridge Beautiful one
Love Dad and Mum, Jasper and Rambo. |

In loving memory of Sammie
- 20 June 2011
Rest in peace my dear companion. You're back with your sister now. I'm so sad that I had to let you go but know it was time. I already miss you terribly and will never forget you and the happiness you brought.
Bless you. |

Humbug
c1990 - 7th June 2010
In memory of our dearest Humbug, our Princess Pretty. We first met you when you came to say hello when we first moved in 10 years ago and have been part of our lives ever since, first as an overnight visitor and then as a permanent resident for the last 5 years. You ruled the street with a quiet grace, and loved nothing more than to await unsuspecting doggies as they passed our drive, when they would be greeted with a smart tap on the nose or hiss. Everyone knew you and loved you. You loved us singing your special "Your'e beautiful" song to you and having tummy tucks and toe ticks. You were always with us and tended to us when we were ill, never leaving our side. Such a loving, darling and extra special girl - one in a million. Our house is now empty and all the life has gone from it. We miss you so very, very much.
Sleep tight at Rainbow Bridge darling Hum, with your sisters and Bella and
Sam.
Until we meet again...
Love you more than anything

Our best friend, we love you always and forever, we will meet you at Rainbow Bridge, then nothing can part us again.

My beloved Mr Lucy Furrballs
Passed purring and very loved at home in peace ready to cross Rainbow Bridge.
A strong boy fighting Cancer who came to me from the street and learned to trust me and share my domestic world.
Pure snow white, my moonlight cat mysterious and aloof, now in the sky with diamonds forever.
Loved deeply and eternally

In memory of our darling Benson
5th May 1992 - 31st March 2011
Our little boy. Thank you for being our best friend for so many years and for allowing us to share your life. You made us smile, you made us laugh, you were always there for us when we needed someone to talk to. You lead a long and happy life, filled with so much fun and adventure, and your 'retirement years' were relaxed and peaceful. You truly were the heart and soul of our home and nothing will ever be the same for us again. We miss you so much - we thought you were going to live forever. You've left pawprints on our hearts and a huge void in our lives.
Sleep tight, Bensie,
We'll meet you at Rainbow Bridge some day.
Love always, Mummy & Daddy x x x |

A Tribute for 'Kitten' and her Family
- 14th February 2011
'Kitten' was a beautiful little feral cat who lived a long and happy life filled with the love care and protection of our friends Cathy & Joe.
She was a delightful, shy and mysterious little lady who shared the luxurious comforts of porch and garden with her sister 'Kitten'.
She died on 14th February and will much missed by all who love her - humans and animals alike.

Beautiful NuNi passed away on 30.11.10
NuNi you were my special cat, some say you were "a bit funny looking" but to me you were beautiful - inside and out. I miss your lap seeking abilities and your pushy ways. Life with you at times felt like a big game of hide and seek, except now I can only find the void you have left behind. I believe in Rainbow Bridge, and know you are waiting there for me. Don’t get lost my beautiful, we'll meet again...one glorious sunny day.
RIP my NuNi - I will miss you always x |

My Timmy, who sadly passed on 30.11.10
I didn’t want you to leave Timmy, I needed you here.
As always by my side, as always near.
Bringing a smile to my face even when times were sad,
Making me happy even when times were bad.
Your gorgeous dark eyes and silky smooth fur,
Crooked little ears and extremely loud purr.
All gone from my life as you play and you wait,
In the meadows that lead to heavens gate,
for me to join you so we can walk together,
To a land were we will be with each other forever.
Your Angela xxx |

Astrophe
c2001 - 12th November 2010
Our beautiful little girl, who turned up in our garden in September 2001, left us today. We'll never know what her early life was like, but from the moment she found us, she was loved and cared for. A tortoiseshell, true to form, she could be extremely bad-tempered, but was always remorseful and was instantly forgiven. We are grateful for the times we had with her and, although bereft at her loss, are glad that she is not suffering. She will live with us in our hearts for evermore and will be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge when it is our turn.
Sleep tight little one...
