Remembering with love, those special cats who have left pawprints
on your heart.
This gallery
of remembrance was set up following the loss of our dear George Cat (right), who was one of the founding felines of the Cat Chat Charity, and a very special little rascal!
This page is a place to remember your much loved cats, but also a way to pay
a real tribute to them, by helping other cats in need. Therefore, we are asking
for a small donation to the Charity to place your tribute here. Tributes will remain on the remembrance gallery for a minimum of a year.

TRIBUTE TO MR TIBBS
1995-13.6.2009
Mr Tibbs, best mate of Ray, loving friend to Maggie and first "boyfriend" to tabby Katie; a great character who loved watching TV (esp football), playing with his toys and enjoying a good meal!
He was only with us for six months but we'll never forget him.
Suddenly taken from us on 13.6.09

TOTO
26th April 1990 - 26th April 2009
My darling Toto. You were my love and companion for 19 years and I miss you very much. Life is very hard without you, but I know that you are in pet heaven and always in my heart. You bought me such joy and love. You always knew when I was ill or needed that extra attention. I gave you everything you needed. You always wanted to be with me and I always wanted to be with you. We were inseperable. God bless you my boy and I will love you forever.
Your Mummy always,

To Googlie Bear - Fang
September 1997 – 1st May 2009
My adorable, I didn't want to let you go, but I wanted to do the best for you. You were the most affectionate, sweet, clever, caring, mischievous and often comical little boy - I miss you so very much each and every day. I still look for you in all your favourite spots in the house and in the garden, life just isn't the same without you. You lit up my world like a shining star and brought me so much happiness, thank you for everything. I hope that where you are, you are happy and being looked after until mummy can join you, I long to hold you close in my arms again. Until then sleep well my adorable. I love you so very much, you will always have my heart now and forever.
All my love always

In Memory of Wee Bobby
1993? - 2nd May 2007
My little sweetie. We were so suddenly parted two years ago and I still love you and grieve for you as much today as ever. You were such a little cat with such a huge personality and I miss you every day of my life. You really were one in a million. Play hard at the Bridge, babe, until we meet again.
Night-night, wee Bob, I'll see you in the morning.
In my heart and soul forever.

Remembering Amy ('Moo Moo')
1992 - 20th April 2009
My little baby - a complete joy for 17 years of your 18 year life - how lucky I was to know you and look after you. Such a pretty and vivacious girl with a miaow that was not meant to be ignored, if we were silly enough to ignore you you just shouted even louder. I know my grief will get easier in time and the years of being a best friend will far outweigh that in the long run.
Never to be forgotten

Remembering Pickford (The Brave)
1996 (approx) to April 2009
When Pickford arrived as a scruffy, hungry, nervous stray cat, little did we know what an adorable, affectionate, handsome lad he would become. It took months of patience to win his trust, but finally 'Sparecat' moved in and became Pickford. Despite his various health problems, Pickford made the most of every day. He adored fuss, fuss, more fuss, and he was a total catnip junkie. We were incredibly privileged that he chose to share the last four years of his life with us, as he slowly became the magnificent cat he always deserved to be.
Bye for now Pickford the Brave, ('Private Pickford')
Love you always and forever

You were the sweetest and most loving cat I have ever known. I am so sorry I couldn't do more to help you. I tried my best but you were too sick you poor little stray. I hope you knew some kindness from people before you died.
Love you always and see you at Rainbow Bridge.

Remembering my Mimi with all of our love
2003 - 26th Jan 2009
My lovely girl, I found you five years ago and you accompanied me through your whole life. It is hardly believed you are gone, I'd rather think that you just have a catnap than accepting you will never come back. I miss you so much and wish you have a happy life in Rainbow Bridge.
Sleep well and always love you.

In Loving Memory of Smudge
1995 - 17th December 2008
We got you from a rescue centre when you were eighteen months old, and since then we have shared twelve happy (and mad!) years together. We will all miss how you would take your prawns out of the bowl and eat them off the kitchen floor, and how you would attack mam’s legs on a night before bed. I will really miss how you would come running to see if I was ok when I was singing cos you thought I was in pain!
The house is so empty without you Smud, we miss you so, so much but we know you had a great life with us and you made us smile every day with your mad ways!
Love you lots, we will never forget you, sleep well

For Rufus, also known as...
Ruffie, Ruffie Roo Roo, Fatty, Rufus Dufus & Rufus Pooface (an unfortunate rhyme that became a nickname).
2002 - 2008
Dear Fatty, For you this poem I write
As my way of saying sweet dreams and sleep tight
My cowardly lion, timid like a mouse
But still King of the garden, man of the house
Brave little warrior, you fought to the end
Now you've earned your rest, my beloved friend.
Cancer took you from us much too early.
We will miss you forever.
Love always baby boy from Mummy & Daddy. |

Remembering Cheeky
??? - 14/12/2008
Our Cheeky Girl, the place just isn't the same without you. We miss your chatter, happy purrs and your gentle face that could melt hearts. A cat who always enjoyed the simple things in life, you were our baby and boy did you lap it up! It's our cuddles on the couch that I'll miss the most. You are gone but we see you everywhere, which is hard but we are so happy that we were able to give you the great life that you absolutely deserved in your OAP years.
Sleep well and all our love

Remembering Polo
taken from us on 28/11/08
My darling Bubby Boy, I can hardly believe that you are gone and taken from us so cruelly. You were the most gentle cat except when your girlfriend Lucy tried to snuggle in when you weren't in the mood! I miss singing to you (you are my sunshine) and your joyous greetings at the car. I miss you so much it's unbelievable.
I will be forever blowing kisses at you until we meet again.
Love from Mum, Lucy, Ian, Grandma, Granda and your fanclub xxx |

Remembering Ernie
Ernie thankyou for sharing four years of your life with me. Over that special time we created a bond of love and friendship that I will cherish always. From that first time we met at the rescue centre I knew you’d be my forever cat and even through the last few difficult months you stayed strong but the inevitable came to us too soon.
Thankyou for all the good times, being there waiting every day when I came home, the ‘Wheelies’ you’d do in the morning, the purrs in the night and most of all for just being you. I couldn’t let you struggle any longer, be at peace my dearest friend. |

Remembering Basil

Cruelly taken by a car when you were trotting home. You were a naughty bully who had a split personality, you let me kiss your head when you had your long face on. We loved you so much our lives will never be the same. The house is empty without you, I keep looking for you.
Lots of love,
Anna, James, Sidley, Mildred, Delilah and Smokey

To dUSTY
To my darling old man. Colonel Lightfoot, dUSTYbin, His Royal Cuteness and the Haminator we sometimes called you. I miss you so much, life isn't the same without you here. I wish I could hear you chatting to me like you used to. I miss you biting my nose in the middle of the night, and getting under my feet everytime I go into the kitchen. You loved your chicken treats so much and it was an honour and a pleasure to feed them to you by hand. I miss your little chirrups and 'browns' - they used to make me smile so much. I miss your soft fur, and that glorious smell that radiated from you - we used to say it was the scent of pure goodness. I miss your beautiful eyes, the special one was your trademark - as was your painter's splodge on your back and the grey heart on the back of your leg.
Watch over me dUSTY because one day in the future we will meet again - and I will give you a chin tickle once more.
All my love,
Mummy xxxxx

Remembering Oscar
Our little boy Oscar - we were so lucky to know you from a tiny kitten when we found you and your Mum and sisters abandoned in our shed.
Not a day will go by that we don’t have a tear in our eye. We are so sad that you were taken from us so early but so grateful for the three and half years that we spent together. We will treasure every day in our hearts.
We miss your purr, your early morning calls and the drool that came with them. It is so quiet without you.
We are looking after your Mum and Sister and they miss you too.
Until we meet again at Rainbow Bridge our little mate…

Remembering Murphy
March 2006 - September 2008
Our loveable rogue suddenly taken away from us on Saturday 20th September 2008. You touched so many hearts in your short life and you are missed by so many. You had a special personality that everyone immediately fell in love with and you helped people through some difficult times that we will never forget you for. Has it not been for you we would not have got through them. You always made people laugh with your special ways. You were loved so much and the world does not seem the same without you little mate and one day I will meet up with you again. I know until that day that you are always watching and probably laughing because that is what you did.
You are missed so much special boy.
Love always until we meet again.

My Very Special Friend,
‘GINGER’
15th September 2008
You brought so much happiness and joy to my life in those 18 years, it broke my heart to let you go on Monday evening, but with the thought of you suffering through an operation, to try and keep our special times together for maybe one or two more years, was just too much to put you through my friend.
I will cherish having the opportunity to stroke you while you were put to sleep, and you will always have a special place in my heart. Goodbye my special friend, it was a privilege to look after you, and a comfort to me now knowing your ashes will stay by my side forever, until we meet at Rainbow Bridge.

Remembering Zazzie
2002(ish) to 22nd September 2008
This morning my beloved Zazzie died. Retrieved from a rough life on the streets in Cahors and spending 2 years and 7 months together with 11 other cats - with an equally unhappy start in life one way or the other - in my house and garden of Eden. She was so pretty, so uncomplaining, so tolerant with the other cats. I am so very sad and will miss you for a very long time.
Zazzewaz, loved by many and never forgotten by many.
See you at Rainbow Bridge my honey. |

Our Tilley Pids our furry friend

We miss you greeting us, and our bath times. So sadly missed by all.
Rest easy little Tilley, we miss you so much, but your memory will live on.

Remembering Sammy
Who went to Rainbow Bridge in August 2005
You came into our lives as a stray and were so frightened and thin that you wouldn't even come near us when we left food out for you for a year and lived under the holly bush. Gradually we won your trust and you moved in to live with us. You made our lives complete and we were happy and honoured that you chose to come to be with us as our darling
companion. You were such a fine cat, and a real gentleman.
So loved and longed for always darling Sam.
Until we meet again.

April 1997 - 13th August 2008
You were taken from us so suddenly Dottie and our hearts are broken.
We are missing you every second of every day.
You gave us such love and joy and our lives are empty without you.
What we would give to hear again the little trilling noise you used to make,
and to be able to kiss your beautiful little nose.
We will love you forever Darling Dottie, our baby girl,
Love Mummy and Daddy

To Our Darling Timmy - “Kitten Konked”
1997 - 2008
Although we only had the privilege of having you in our lives for a short amount of time, they were days that were never without a smile at your antics, particularly the “stealth paw” sneaking onto our plates and your penchant for sitting in the bathtub for no apparent reason other than that you could admire yourself in the mirror.
We all miss you desperately, especially Tigger - “Shere Khan’t Be
Bothered”.

Remembering Chai
Our 13 month Siamese was diagnosed with FIP and in vet care for a week, we knew the there was nothing that could be done so brought him home to give him as much love as we could. Chai fought so hard but had suffered enough, and we held him while he was put to sleep.
Our darling little Chai, so cruelly taken from us and nothing we could do to help you, so sorry baby. You were the sweetest, most loving little soul. You were with us for such a short time but the pain will be here forever. |

Remembering Bandit
? 1990 – November 2005
It’s over two years since you had to go, after a year of unexplained illnesses. You came as a stray, living rough somewhere in our neighbours’ gardens, creeping in at night to steal our resident cat’s food. But you were so affectionate that we eventually surrendered to you. From 1998 you were part of the family, sitting on my desk when I was working, on my knee when I was watching TV and on the bed when I was sleeping.
Bandit, I miss you still. |
