CAT CHAT'S ROLL OF HONOUR - FEBRUARY 2009

The cats on our Roll of Honour are just a small selection of cats homed through Cat Chat.

Cats Homed Kirkby Cats Home
NERO AND ELI
Hi, This weekend saw our Top Cat Nero move on. We are hoping he will be ok but as he bit his new mum before she decided to take him she does know what she is letting herself in for. I suppose Nero just wanted to make sure she understood the way things were going to be. Anyway Nero is homed thanks to Top Cats. Eli was snapped up after only 2 days on our Cat Chat page, in fact we had a waiting list for him but we are not surprised, he was beautiful in both looks and nature and his new owner is a very lucky person. Thankyou, KIRKBY CATS HOME (February 09)

Cat Homed Medway West RSPCA

HUGS
I have some wonderful news, Hugs had only been on the top cat section for 24 hours when she was noticed and pleased to say after the necessary checks she has now gone to a new home. We can not thank you enough, she had been in our centre 3 months and within a day of being on your site she has now got a new home. Many Thanks from RSPCA MEDWAY WEST CATTERY (February 09)

Cat Homed Second Chance Rescue UK

TICKED
We are delighted to let you know that Ticked as gone off to his new home as a result of being spotted on Cat Chat. Thanks, SECOND CHANCE RESCUE UK (February 09)

Cat Homed Medway West RSPCA

TODD
More fantastic news, Todd was spotted on catchat and was offered a new home. He had been with us 8 months and the lady offering him a home had two other cats and two GSD, we were a little wary about homing Todd with dogs as he was a little nervous, but agreed to a trial period. He is getting on fantastically and has settled down in just over a week. We want to say a huge thank you to the wonderful team at Cat Chat. RSPCA MEDWAY WEST CATTERY (February 09)

LITTLE GIRL KITTEN
Hi. Thanks to our listing on the 'Rescues with Kittens' page, I rehomed a little girl kitten yesterday! Only one left now a 3 month old black boy called Bow. Thanks again to Cat Chat! ANIMAL CONCERN CUMBRIA - NORTH LAKES AND SOLWAY BRANCH (February 09)

Cats Homed National Animal Welfare Trust
ROSIE AND CONNIE
Hi There, Having seen Rosie on Cat Chat, a family came to see her and fell in love with her and gave her a home. At the same time they saw cat Connie who they really liked. They went home and gave thought to the matter, came and visited her several times and then decided they wanted to give her a home as well. Our follow ups tell us both cats are doing well, so our thanks to Catchat. NATIONAL ANIMAL WELFARE TRUST, THURROCK BRANCH. (February 09)

Cat Homed National Animal Welfare Trust

STAR
Star had been found dumped in a cat basket under a bridge. It took a while before she trusted us, so it was a time before we decided to show her on Cat Chat. Once on the website, it didn't take long for a couple to contact us showing an interest. Now settled in her new home she is more confident and they love her very much. We can't thank you enough. NATIONAL ANIMAL WELFARE TRUST, THURROCK BRANCH. (February 09)

Cat Homed Stourbridge & District RSPCA
TINKER
Hi, Just to let you know that Tinker has now been successfully rehomed as a direct result of being seen on CatChat!! He has gone to a lovely family in Worcester who fell in love with him when they saw him on the site. They travelled up to see him and that was that! Normally we wouldn't rehome as far out as Worcester due to having to do the home check but in this case we made an exception as the family seemed perfect and Tinker so deserved the right home! He is settling in well and is at last enjoying having a forever family. Many thanks Cat chat! Kind Regards, STOURBRIDGE AND DISTRICT RSPCA (February 09)

Cat Homed Lothian Cat Rescue

Also, the shy black youngster who we called Bonus, has also gone to his new home this week. He'll have two doting humans and another cat for company. Both homes came to us from our Cat Chat advert, so thank you! BROMLEY & DISTRICT CAT RESCUE (Feb 2009)

BISCUIT & GINGER (Pictured), SNOWDROP & LILLY (& THE KITTENS FLOPSY & COTTONTAIL), AND PEPPER
Just to let you know all of the above, have been rehomed because of Cat Chat! It's proving so successful that the lady that runs the shelter is cancelling newspaper advertising. She used to rehome 1 cat every 2-3 months using local newspaper advertising. She is now rehoming, on average, 1 or 2 cats a week, some of which have been long-stayers & pretty wild! Thanks ever so for all the good work you all do! Kind regards, CAT ACTION TRUST 1977 - CENTRAL & WEST LONDON BRANCH (February 09)
