MABLI HEULWEN
Hi Cats, and their Staff! Just a note to let you know that Mabli Heulwen (one of the timid little ones from Teifi Cat Rescue) has found a new foreverhome, with lots of love and patience to bring her out of her shell! We would never have found her without Cat Chat. Thanks so much for the good work you do. Mabli's adopter said: She travelled very well back home yesterday without so much as a cry never mind a sick! She's currently dividing her time between Eira's old bed (which I hadn't the heart to throw out even though it's just a box with a furry blanket in it) and her 'hidey pyramid' under the table in the kitchen. She took a bit of time to venture from the cat carrier but she did let me stroke her a little and put her ears straight - until she tried adventuring, knocked the phone book to the floor and scared herself, then she decided that he was to blame and hissed and hid again! She ate the wet food and left the biscuits, this morning she only had biscuits so we'll see how they went down later. She also found her litter tray okay and looked at me in great horror when I accidentally walked in when she was doing her business!
Mabli was homed by: TEIFI CAT RESCUE, Ceredigion. (March 2009)

SYLVIE, OWEN, TILLY
Hi, Success at last for two of our Top Cats and both in the same weekend. First of all feisty Sylvie went to her second new home in as many weeks with the understanding that we would take her back if she wasn't suitable, her new mum has had difficult cats before and was prepared to give her time. The next day we got a phone call to say that she was lovely, had settled in and had spent her first evening on a knee watching tv. We're both delighted and speechless! Sylvie was spotted on Top Cats and her new mum had been following her story for a while and felt sorry for her. The second to go was big boy Owen, we were worried about him settling into a house as he came from a feral colony but he's adopted to his new life without batting an eyelid; knee, sofa, bed, Owen has tried them all. Hopefully he will continue to settle in and enjoy his new life. The third to find a home was Tilly who was homeless after losing her elderly owner. Tilly has found herself another doting elderly owner after being taken as a present for someone's Grandma, after she lost her elderly cat. Once again thank you for all your help. BURTON JOYCE CAT WELFARE. (March 2009)

MOTHER
Just to say a big thank you and let you know that Mother has now been rehomed with
the help of Cat Chat. She has been in her new home now for 3 weeks, settled down within the first couple of hours of going through the door. Wakes her new carers up every morning by patting them gently on the face then going downstairs to play with her toys until breakfast is ready. She is a house cat and enjoys every minute of it. Many many thanks - such a good result after her being abandoned, almost being put to sleep and having her in rescue since July 2008. By the way her new carers are thrilled with her. KITTYKARE RESCUE AND REHOMING, Wiltshire. (March 2009)
