two cats homed national animal welfare tryust thurrock RUSSELL and BUDDY
Two more cats, Russell and Buddy, are now enjoying life in new homes. They were seen on Catchat and that prompted the owners to make contact with us. After talking to us, we invited the people to meet us and see the cats, and neither family was disappointed as immediately they knew what they had seen was what they wanted, despite the fact that there were many other cats there!! Thank you from us all.

SABRINA
Hi there, Fantastic news is that Sabrina has found a lovely person to look after her in their home. This youngster was found abandoned, with what at first glance looked like extensive wounds all over her body and face. It transpires she had a suppurating, untreated skin condition. It was so bad that even after months of dedicated treatment from our vets, we still couldn't put a picture of her on the catchat.org web site as all the wounds had scabbed over and she still looked very poorly. Even when she was more photogenic and we added her photo she was still overlooked and ended up being with us for 14 months. On the off chance that not every one knows about our web page we put a notice in the window of our Newburgh shop and within a week someone very special now has a very special cat. We are, needless to say, chuffed to bits on Sabrina's behalf. WHINNYBANK CAT SANCTUARY. (April 2009)

JESSICA
To all at Cat Chat, Little Jessica has gone to her new home and we have since heard that she has settled well and is very happy. This is her fifth move in her very short life but hopefully her last thanks to Cat Chat. Purrs and tickles. CATS IN NEED. (April 2009)

INKY & LILLY
Hi There. I am pleased to add these two to your Roll of Honour. The family had always had black cats and when one died last year aged 16 years and then its brother aged 17 died recently, they looked on Cat Chat and found that we had several black cats!!! Contact was made and they came to visit. It was hard for them to decide which ones, but it was more for us to find two that would accept each other. They chose Inky and Lilly and they have both settled not only in the home but with each other. The owners are finding it difficult to tell them apart!. Thank you Cat Chat for helping two black cats find a home. NATIONAL ANIMAL WELFARE TRUST, Thurrock Essex. (April 2009)

Hi just to let you know Lola has been homed through Cat Chat, thanks very much!! SPRINGFIELD RESCUE, Chelmsford. (April 2009)

Cat homed - Cats In Crisis, Thanet, Kent

TANGLE
Tangle was rehomed to Cat Chat Towers, when a vacancy arose after the sad loss of Pickford Cat. She was seen on Cats in Crisis's Cat Chat Homing Page. After spending the first couple of days hidden away, Tangle began to come out for fusses, and games with a shoelace, and it looks like she will blossom into an adorable puss! The Rescue said: That's absolutely fantastic. She hid herself away in a box all the time she was with us, never coming out when people came to visit and no-one ever saw her. I think she really has realised this is her big break and she is not going to mess it up. Thanks again, we are absolutely delighted. XX

Hi to all the catchat team, may I say thanks to your wonderful descriptions that you gave to Mowgli and Pickle and also to Lucky this month all three found new homes. Despite their problems the people were still willing to give them a chance, Mowgli and Pickle have now been in their new home for nearly two weeks and although it may take Mowgli a little time to settle in, his new owner is very happy and Pickle acts like she has always been there. Lucky found a new home last week and fingers crossed now she is out of the cattery situation she will calm down. Many Thanks again for all your help. RSPCA MEDWAY WEST BRANCH. (April 2009)
