CAT CHAT’S ROLL OF HONOUR – DECEMBER 2009
The cats on our Roll of Honour are just a small selection of cats homed through Cat Chat.
CHARLIE AND LOLA
We are delighted to tell you that Top Cats has finally come good for Charlie and Lola; they will be going to their new home tomorrow after their new mum saw them on the site. They are lovely cats and we are sure they will all be happy together. Once again, thank you.
BURTON JOYCE CAT WELFARE, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE (December 2009)
OLLIEMOLLIE (Left) AND MIDNIGHT (Right)
Another success to be attributed to CatChat is the homing of Midnight, I put this plain, common little cat on at the beginning of last week and by the weekend there were three people interested luckily one of the unsuccessful couples went to Kirkby and gave a home to Ollie instead, Ollie hadn't even made it onto the site but can thank CatChat for his change of luck. Once again, thank you.
BURTON JOYCE CAT WELFARE, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE (December 2009)
TINY
More success due to CatChat! Tiny, our little semi long haired black and white male kitten has now found a new home. He likes nothing better than to stretch out and toast in the sun. Thanks again!
CAT ACTION TRUST 1977, NUNEATON & HINCKLEY BRANCH (December 2009)
TOM (Left) AND ELSA (Right)
They saw two cats, Tom and Elsa, on CatChat, and got in touch with us. After lots of talking they came to see the cats. Unable to decide between them, they decided to give both of them a home although the two cats had never been together. Their patience has been rewarded, for now the two are settled in and accept each other. Thank you CatChat for all your help.
NATIONAL ANIMAL WELFARE TRUST, THURROCK BRANCH, ESSEX (December 2009)
JIM
Just to let you know that we have found a brilliant home for our gorgeous Jim, where we know he will be happy and well loved. Thanks a million CatChat for your wonderful website.

ROSIE (Left) AND SMOKEY (Right)
More cats have got new homes, the following cats are the latest lucky ones. Smokey has gone to live with a very nice young lady, as the only cat. So he will get all the fuss and love he wants. Rosie has gone to live with a young family. As she is a bit shy, she will get a lot of TLC. Thank you once again CatChat.
ANN AND BILL'S CAT AND KITTEN RESCUE, ESSEX (December 2009)
MITZY
Another lucky one to get a new home. A gentleman (whose cat died recently) came to see the cats that we had. Mitzy was the one cat that was all round him. We showed him more cats, but he had already made his mind up. The gentleman lives alone, so Mitzy will be his companion and he will be Mitzy’s companion. Thank you once again CatChat.
ANN AND BILL'S CAT AND KITTEN RESCUE, ESSEX (December 2009)
STITCH (Left), OLLIE (Centre) AND PIPPA (Right)
We have homed Stitch, Ollie and Pippa to people who have seen them on CatChat – many thanks!
KINGSDOWN CAT SANCTUARY, EAST KENT (December 2009)
SONNY
I am very pleased to let you know that Sonny has been rehomed with a very nice and special family. Their cat had recently died at a very old age and bravely they wanted to give a home to another older cat. It was thanks to one of their two boys that found his details on our CatChat web page. Sonny slept on the sofa between the grown-ups the very first evening, the family can't believe how well he has settled and say it's like he has always
been there......I hope he has many more years left as they all love him to bits and him them. Again many thanks for your support.
CATS FRIENDS, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE (December 2009)

CLACTON ANIMAL AID, ESSEX (December 2009)
NELL (Left) AND DOMINIC (Right)
Nell was spotted on our homing page, her new mum fell in love with her pretty face and went to reserve her for after Christmas, nice plan but Nell had other ideas, she wouldn't leave her alone and insisted that she was taken there and then. She left in a borrowed basket and is reported to have settled in instantly. Lovely little Dominic eventually got chosen, he was born in the rescue so he has a lot of catching up to do but we are sure his new mum will be very patient with him. As ever thank you for all your help.
BURTON JOYCE CAT WELFARE, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE (December 2009)
JOSH AND RUFUS
Eventually after being in the rescue since September Rufus and Josh fell lucky and moved onto pastures new after performing every trick they knew to get their new owner's attention, they are big boys and not easily ignored and this time their persistence paid off. As ever thank you for all your help.

BETTY AND WILMA
News flash, Betty & Wilma have got a new home. Thanks to CatChat . They were seen on our web page by a lady who was looking for two kittens, for her two 15 year old twin girls. Mum and her girls came to see our two little girls. Her girls, fell in love with our girls, and as the family met our requirements, we said yes. So we have another successful re-homing. We have heard from the Mum, and after a couple of teething problems all is now well.
ANN AND BILL'S CAT AND KITTEN RESCUE, ESSEX (December 2009)
CHELSEA (Left) AND SOXES (Right)
Also we have re-homed Soxes & Chelsea. Although that was from a recommendation, when the lady phoned us, we sent them to our web page so that she could see the two kittens. The lady came with her three boys, they saw the two kittens and took both of them. The kittens were not related, but they used to eat together and sleep together. So that's another happy re-homing. All the best and thanks.

FB is a three year old ginger and white male. He is tremendously affectionate and playful and loves a good fuss. Unfortunately he is also FIV positive, however this hasn’t deterred his new owners at his forever home. He was rehomed on 20/12/09, thanks to CatChat.
CAT ACTION TRUST, NUNEATON, HINCKLEY (December 2009)
PEBBLES (Left) AND RILEY (Right)
Thanks to CatChat we have rehomed two more cats. Both cats, although came from different families came because the owners split up. Pebbles has gone to live with a nice family with one little girl. They emailed me the same day to say that she had already settled in and was even eating. Riley is going to the vets tomorrow to be neutered and will be off to his new owners at the weekend. Once again thanks to you all at CatChat. Happy New Year. All the best!

Saturday was a lucky day for Smuggler, after being in the rescue since June he caught the eye of his new Mum and has moved to his luxurious new pad and reported to have settled in well. Also lucky was Pepper, Pepper never actually made it onto the website but her owners came to look after seeing it so Pepper still has Cat Chat to thank for her change of circumstance.
