Eggy is a very special boy who was rescued in a terrible condition, unneutered and with a heavy flea and ear mite infestation that had led him to scratch his ears bloody. It’s likely he had been fending for himself outdoors for a long time and was badly neglected. He has now been neutered, the parasites are long gone and he’s been nursed to health by Catcuddles volunteers, and is ready to find his new, loving home.

Our vet estimates Eggy is approx 8 years old.
He is looking for a rescue minded adopter willing to overlook his torn ears; underneath the scruffy exterior he’s a lovely, friendly boy with a lot of love to give. Eggy can sometimes give a hiss when first approached, likely the result of learning to protect himself on the streets. However this is all for show and he soon welcomes scratches and fuss.

We are looking for a spacious, indoor only home for Eggy (as being FIV+ may make him a little more likely to catch other infections outdoors). Indoor homes with a balcony will be considered if they can be catproofed. He is looking for an adult only home and will need to be the only pet in the home.
