Maud
Maud is a lovely 15 year old girl. She has come to Catcuddles in search of a quiet retirement home as she found her previous home with two small children very stressful.

Maud has quickly become a volunteer favourite; she is gentle and affectionate and very beautiful with her big eyes and sleek black fur. Maud would make an ideal companion for an older person or someone with a quiet, settled home.

She is used to having outdoor access but has never wandered far from her own garden. Ideally her new home would therefore have a garden she could potter around in, although we would also consider smaller/alternative outside spaces such as terraces if they have been made safe for cats.

Maud has recently had a blood test with our vet and she has early stage kidney disease. This is very common in older cats and many cats enjoy good quality life for several years after initial diagnosis. Maud is currently eating a renal diet, this food can easily be purchased from any vet’s, pet shops or online. Her health needs can be further discussed with our adoptions team.
