Harry was very happy in his home. He did live with other cats and a very very cat friendly dog. All lovely and happy. But then, the elderly female cat who mothered him and protected him died late last year. For him, he lost his cat mom in his head and began to be bullied by another male cat in the house (a bengal ). He wee ed in the wrong place to try and explain how sad he was and his distress at loss and bullying, the bengal was fighting with him and spraying too.... now Harry has now lost the home he has known. He was very, very loved and they have only let him go, as we are experienced in re training litter issues and older cats. They had to rehome one of the cats and felt Harry being loving and cuddly was the easiest. This was done out of love. He is safe with us and we will love him and find a perfect home. Harry says.... I am 8 year old called Harry and my ideal home is no stress, no young children under 10, maybe an only cat or maybe one chilled persian or easy going cat to mother me? and lots and lots of human love when you are home! My feline 'mom' died aged over 20 and she was a burmese too and then a bengal bullied me.... I just want humoon love and a furrever home please. I have been adored by my humoons before... can you give me a home? It is very hard for people to tolerate wees in wrong places, and we do have an information sheet on this, but we do re training before homing. So far we have not had a failure although for some, we have had to tell adopters who to re train at times (as we do our own cat who has challenges in the wee department (his have physical causes too which can trigger). All cats have succeeded in right home. The less stress the better for them. Bloods to check kidneys with his age, dental if needed and urine analysis will be done. He will also need a denatl

Adoption fee is £175

Before applying for a Strawberry cat please read the following.

1. Unless otherwise stated, our cats are strictly indoor only. This means that windows/doors cannot be left open in any room to which the cat has access. A cat cannot be trained to be indoor only - it must be supervised. All members of the house must be in agreement, and understand about keeping doors and windows closed. We are happy to re-home to a flat but, likewise, this means windows closed and no balcony access, unless the balcony is totally cat-proofed (netting all the way), same is true for roof terraces, so that they cannot drop to their death.

2. Unless otherwise stated, we do not re-home to children under 6 years old. If there is nothing stated to contrary, assume the cat cannot go to a child under six. For other cats, please also bear in mind that some cats may also be found to be unsuitable, even for children over 6.

3. It is a requirement of our adoption policy that lifetime insurance is obtained and maintained

for every cat adopted. We provide 5 weeks free insurance with every adoption, but the original policy may not suit you and as we are not financial advisors you should seek out the best and appropriate insurance to suit your own needs.

4. Most cats are in Greater London, Essex or Kent, with some fostered further afield. We have volunteers who can transport cats nearer or to you, but fuel costs are payable by yourselves.

If you are happy with the above criteria and want to enquire further or reserve a cat, please email.
