Buddy came into the care of LPCR with his sister, Lucy.  Neither of these gorgeous cats have ever lived in a home, but they have not been treated badly in any way.  Their previous carer was very kind indeed, but did not have the facilities to be able to keep them.  They lived outside with a sort of shelter but it left them extremely vulnerable.  Brother and sister get on well but they do not need to be homed together at all; Lucy is gentle and is fine with other gentle foster cats too.  In fact, Buddy gets on very well with the other cats and it seems they regard him like their brother or best pal.  He is gentle, unassuming, sweet natured, friendly and generally adorable.  However, when he first came to us, he was so scared, it was just about off the scale!  However, he was allowed to settle in at his pace which I feel is always the best way but it did take a very long time.  He can still be a little wary now and again but generally, he is settled and seems happy, given the limited circumstances of course. He likes giving nose bumps or kisses too and loves being stroked.  It is wonderful to watch him as other cats go to him and rub against him and try to walk alongside him.  He takes it all in his stride and shows affection towards them, like a good buddy would do.  Buddy will sometimes stand on his hind legs when it is food time, just showing how keen he is but waiting patiently.  Like Alfie in some ways, he also often has a look of total amazement about him, it makes him even more adorable of course!  He looks very striking with his huge whiskers and is a very handsome boy indeed.  He is of good stature, a sturdy lad as you might say, with a pretty long body, like a gentle giant compared to some cats of a more petite build.  It would be our dream to home this beautiful boy with Alfie as they do seem to have a particularly good bond together.  He and Lucy get on well of course but Lucy is so very shy and may be would be better suited with another little sweetheart.  We just want Buddy to find HIS perfect home and owner, though this is our dream for all our precious cats, in fact animals everywhere.  Thank you for reading.
