Lucy
Lucy is the beautiful Buddy's sister.  They are around four years old and, though they get on well, they do not have to be adopted together.  Like Buddy, Lucy is a very gentle, unassuming cat who has never been known to be confrontational with other cats or people either.  She appears to get on well with the other foster cats and is just a little sweetheart.  She has never been treated unkindly before LPCR took her in, but she and her big brother are usually ultra nervous with new people.  They are both a real joy to know and to have around; yes, I would say that but it is true!  To allow them to settle in their own time would be ideal, however long this takes.  Once Lucy, Buddy too, feel safe and secure and have learned to trust a new person, their love and affection will be seen in bucketloads.  Then of course, their own unique personalities will develop more and more.  They have never lived in a home.  They are now in a purpose built pen, completely safe, but would absolutely love the comfort and security of their own home with all the benefits this would bring.  It is expected that Lucy, like her adorable brother, will take some considerable time to settle into a new home.  For any prospective well matched owner, this would not be an issue at all.  I have a cat similar in personality to Lucy, who I have now had for about twelve years.  She continues to give me so much joy every day; she is a big pudding now, literally, but she is so laid back and is one of the most chatty cats I have ever had the honour of caring for, as well as being ultra affectionate.  All the signs are that Lucy will develop in a similar way, though ideally without the not so little pudding bit if possible.  Thank you for reading.
