Tootsie is a 9 ½ year old black and white cat with amber eyes and bright white whiskers. She arrived with Cats Protection with a horrid skin condition, quite thin and very uncomfortable.
It didn’t take too long with our vets help to make her comfortable and her skin less irritated. Then it was the long job of helping her skin to recover and her fur to grow back. Now she is a lovely furry purry lady.
Although she is approaching middle age, she’s still keen to play – she loves chasing balls and ‘disemboweling’ her catnip mouse. Although she has limited enthusiasm for too much jumping (all too much effort). She adores company and will purr continuously when her foster-er is with her. She doesn’t immediately sit on your lap, but spend some time with her and she wants to be close and will eventually settle down for a good snuggle.
