Malcolm
HOME PENDING!

This handsome boy wasn't so bonny when he first came into care early in April. He was unneutered, a bit battered looking and his whole body was covered in a gooey, oily, substance. How that substance came to be all over his coat is anyone's guess but it's all gone now and Malcolm is all clean and shiny. He was a bit wary when he first came in, a not uncommon reaction with cats who've been living on the streets as they are often chased out of gardens etc, but that soon passed and Malcolm is now the soppiest boy with his foster mum! In fact, he sits tight on her knee when she has to get up hoping, no doubt, she'll stay for just a bit longer. She does of course. Malcolm's pen at his foster home has an outdoor play area attached, one that allows him a neighbouring cat to see through a clear barrier. A few weeks ago he did get a new neighbour and I'm glad to say he seems quite at ease with seeing a strange cat close by.

Being such a gentle soul, we feel sure Malcolm would fit in well to a family with older children although a bit of initial shyness is to be expected. There's no doubt he did come from a domestic situation before finding himself left to scavange a living on the streets. Of course, he's been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and is now on the lookout for the kind of home he's always deserved, where he'll be loved and cared for by kind people. A home with access to outdoors is definitely on Malcolm's Wish List too!
