Bella
Little Bella is the only kitten born to her 'landfill site' mum, Susie. Born in our care after her mum was one of 11 adult cats and two kittens removed from that site over April and May this year, Bella is a very confident, lively, carefree and cheeky wee girl. Her mum is understandably still shy, but has come on a very long way from the confused and frightened little soul she was when first caught on the site. Susie's story is listed separately, but ideally we would love for mum and baby to find a home together. For that home to be right for both of them it would need to be one where the people have some experience and understanding of shy cats so that Susie would be accepted for the quiet, shy, girl she could be for quite some time while the family enjoyed all the affection and fun that Bella, born in a gentle and caring environment, had to offer. As mentioned on Susie's post, it isn't out of the question for Susie and Bella to be homed separately but we would just love to see them stay together. Without a doubt, Bella won't be the only kitten Susie ever gave birth to but given there were no older kittens on that dangerous site that she could have been mother to Bella is the certainly the only one to have survived. Bella's foster mum has offered to be the contact for anyone wanting more information about little Bella (and possibly Susie) and can be contacted any time at weekends and after 4pm on weedays on 07517664273.
N.B. At the moment the U.K. is still in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it is still possible to carry on the work of the charity without contravening safety guidelines. Potential new homes can still be visited, meeting either in the garden or street. Although some restrictions have now been lifted in England they don't yet apply in the rest of the UK and so people still can't visit any of the cats in their foster homes. All we can do for now is provide photographs and absolutely all information about each individual cat or kitten and then deliver the cat to his or her new family.
