Willow
*Adopted*

Willow has been in our since July 2017 due to her living on a building site with her 3 kittens. All 3 kittens soon found their forever home once they came available, leaving Willow looking for hers.

Willow was adopted in June, but sadly we were contacted within a week of her being adopted due to her hiding away, even though it was stressed that Willow would do this as we don’t even know if she has ever been in a home.

Willow can be timid and nervous at first, but does come out of her shell once she learns to trust you and you give her some head rubs. Even in her previous adopted home last month she was allowing them to stoke her and even started to purr.

She is a sweet little girl who needs a home to call her own, with someone or people to give her time she needs to become the sweet little girl we know she is.

Willow was diagnosed with gingivitis in March this year, which did ulcerate. This can sometimes flare-up (but is chronic), which she will need treatment for. Our vets advised that when this does just to book an appointment for an injection, it’s also been advised that in the future she may need some extraction or a full mouth extraction depending on how she goes. Note: Our 5 weeks free insurance cover that comes with adopted cats will not cover Willow’s gingivitis or anything they think is related.

Willow is looking for a quiet household, with someone who can give her time. Due to her background and medical condition Willow needs to be indoor only, unless outdoor access is given by a catio or cat proofed garden (i.e ProtectaPet fencing or similar). Willow has lived with other cats but can feel over-whelmed with active/playful cats so if another cat is in the household she would prefer a laid back/quiet cat that will not push her. It is unknown how she is with dogs so advised that she isn't adopted with any dogs in the household.
