This little gem of a cat is, well, Gem ❤️

Gem came to us via another rescue and we knew nothing about her except she hadn't been treated well. Gem was very fearful of people for the first few weeks so we moved her to the quietest area of the sanctuary and gave her more space and privacy... With just these small changes and leaving Gem to it, she is relaxing and blossoming and starting to show us what a lovely cat she is.

We are looking to find Gem a home where she can continue to blossom. It is really important for her to feel safe and in control - she needs to be the one to make all the moves so if you are looking for an easy going cuddly cat she's not the one. However, when she feels ready, she loves a lap and will give your hands a very careful licking ❤️

Gem is a beautiful gentle girl who needs a chance and some understanding humans. She cannot live with other cats and is looking for a pet free home without children. Gem would like a home with a garden and a cat flap on a quieter road. She's only 1 year old and it's definitely time for life to be onwards and upwards for this little lady.
