1 year old Muzzy is looking for her forever home after a change in circumstances in her previous home.

Neutered once she came into our care, Muzzy is generally a bit unsure about things. She will show (and tell) you when she’s feeling overwhelmed, but equally if you stay still and she’s feeling a little more secure she may come to you and seek cuddles. 

Muzzy needs a calm, quiet, experienced, adult-only home without any major changes planned where she get used to things at her own pace. It will no doubt take her time to adjust to her home and her humans but once she does, come spring she will need her own quiet garden to explore that she accessed via a cat flap, in a safe location away from busy roads. 

Muzzy needs an experienced, patient and understanding adopter who is willing to help her settle in at her pace.

A dedicated, clutter free ‘bonding room’ is especially important for her to settle into initially, as is an experienced adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to adjust to her new home. Muzzy is likely to become more confident if you have no expectations of her, and can just sit with her quietly and let her get used to you.

Muzzy also needs a home with a quiet garden which she can slowly be introduced to, in a safe location away from busy roads with no easy access to the road. If not already in place, Muzzy will need to have a microchip catflap fitted at the back of the property within a month of adoption. Even if it becomes Muzzy’s preference to toilet outside, like any cat who will have access to the outside she must always have access to a litter tray inside for her urinary health. Outside access is of course only from Spring 2021, once she is fully comfortable with the environment and his humans.
