Drasko - RESERVED
As with many of our new arrivals at this time of year, Drasko has been living as a stray. He is estimated to be five years old.

Still a little scared, Drasko is healing from his time on the streets and an extensive dental resulting in around a dozen extractions. Drasko is neutered but will start his vaccination course at his post op check due before Christmas. He has a grade 2 heart murmur, something that is common amongst cats, which will need monitoring at his annual health check.

Drasko will need to have his trust earned gradually, and is extremely deserving of the devotion and commitment of a human life now, enough with roughing-it for him. He needs gentleness and patience to allow him to relax and release the tension that his body still carries as a coping mechanism to his past life exposed to the harshness of London streets.

If not already in place, Drasko will need to have a microchip catflap fitted at the back of the property within a month of adoption. Even if it becomes Drasko’s preference to toilet outside, like any cat who will have access to the outside he must always have access to a litter tray inside for his urinary health. Outside access is of course only after a minimum of six weeks in his new home.

Drasko is being fostered at our South London hub in Abbey Wood, SE2.

Our priority is to match felines with homes that suit their needs, character and long term requirements. Please be aware that when a particular cat receives an unusually high volume of enquiries, our dedicated adoptions volunteers may only be able to pursue the most promising. We appreciate your understanding.
