Giving a cat such as Matie a home is a big ask but a rewarding thing to do. In spite of
his advancing years, this dear cat is still very frightened of humans. We are not sure
what exactly happened to him in the past but it does look as though Matie has never
had a proper socialisation period. Matie will most likely never be a cat that can be
handled easily but he still needs and deserves a loving home. He has previously lived
with numerous other cats so a home with other felines would be beneficial for his emotional
wellbeing. We are hoping to find him a home that will accept the fact that Marie might remain
fearful of human contact for the rest of his life. Matie is not aggressive but he will need a 'hands-
off' approach in a calm home environment. Who will give this sad, deserving cat a chance?
