MIA

Momma Mia – a ‘month of May’ update

Mia is still waiting for a new home! She is still, of course, a big cuddly ball of fabulous fluff – but she has decided to respond to the name ‘Moose’ to her current fosterer. Basic details are she is 13 years old, had her vaccinations, is spayed, microchipped and flea/worm treated. She needs a patient adopter who has time to give that luxuriant furry coat the regular brushing and attention it needs.

Her current fosterer says: "Mia is a stunning long-haired calico tortie. She may be a bit of an oldie, but she is healthy and has all her own teeth! Mia came to us because her loving owner passed away and she was, and prefers to remain, an only cat. The vet nurse sorted out the worst of her matting and Mia is now grooming herself quite well. She's not a big eater but, when hungry, sits patiently and politely by her bowl.

"Occasionally, Mia (Moose) asks for a fuss - reaching out her fluffy little paw and looking at me longingly. And she’ll roll around playfully on any clothes I’ve taken off to wash! For all her quirks, she’s basically low maintenance as she hides away and sleeps most of the day. As her life-time owner did pass away, all of us in Team Cat Rescue hope we can find a purr-fect match for Mia (Moose) in her towards-twilight years. She deserves it.”

For more information on Mia (Moose) – her background and the sort of home she needs - call Lynne on 0121 373 4596 Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm.
