Rehoming Cats & Kittens: Dumfries & Galloway
Leo
Leo was found living in a derelict building in a very rural location. He was terrified and hungry. He will need a very specific home if his next home is to succeed.

He must have a rural home where there is very little movement of people close by, ideally if the garden has outbuildings where he can camp out in if he feels the need. He is a very sociable cat towards other cats, especially lady cats! He would certainly enjoy the company of another sociable cat in his new home, but it would have to enjoy bit of playtime. We feel he would cope best with a single lady owner or a very quiet couple, in a very rural setting and perhaps with one other cat. He is penned alongside Luna and the pair of them seem to have struck up a bit of a friendship. If the home could offer both cats what they need we would consider homing them together.

He took to his fosterer quite quickly and offered a great deal of trust to her. However, with any new people he is very wary, especially men. We are sure if he gets the right person and the chemistry is right, he'll make a new bond with his new owner. This may take a little extra patience for the first couple of weeks, but food is the way to his heart!! We're sure with the right treats, he'll bond again. This cat will certainly be worth the effort, someone will get a fabulous cat, once he's established.

He is very playful and interactive, almost like a dog in how he communicates and interacts. He is a very gentle cat, if a very large one! He does enjoy a bit of lap sitting with his fosterer, getting brushed, lots (!) of play and getting hugs.He just needs a bit of patience and he'll be a very loving pet.
