One year old ragdoll.  Gorgeous blue eyed and blue point ragdoll boy.

We feel he will benefit from being only pet and needs this as he copied by following his brother in weeing in wrong place, weeing where Tom did.  He only did this for a short period of time and has been clean in foster home from day one while not with his brother or the other 5 cats he was in his previous home with.  We litter re train and will need adopteer to follow our guidance of only giving a small space and expanding very slowly, we can support you doing this as we have litter re trained many cats, some of which had been doing for years, Jerry had only been doing for a short period of weeks and is young.  He will be homed with litter tray he is using happily, his carrier he is used to and a bag of dry food.   Also we have a colllapsable indoor pen so you can settle in one small room initially to ensure litter use and then do supervised out of pen etc.  We are happy to guide you through this (we can set up a chat on facebook) and you just take it slowly to ensure he is being clean and happy.  No cat has failed after support to use litter again where stress triggers are removed (in his case he tolerated being with 6 other cats and only followed his dominant brother, who also did boisterous wrestling with him, they are both happy now only cats in foster and both immediately using litter tray.

We have found shy cats come around when the only pet.  He is independant and happy with someone working, but often shy cats bond by just being in the same room while you are busy doing other things and getting braver day by day.

Just to check that there was no cause for the wee issue, we paid for expensive blood tests and the vet said there was nothing significant, so that is good news.   A previous vet put him on a dry SO Royal canin diet, which we have continued, with tuna applaws as his treat once a day.   His adoption fee to try and cover some of the rescue

Adoption fee £300 - bloods done, neuter, booster, flea, worming, come with littter trays, carrier, toys, food bowls, some of food used to.

Before applying for a Strawberry cat please read the following.

1. Unless otherwise stated, our cats are strictly indoor only. This means that windows/doors cannot be left open in any room to which the cat has access. A cat cannot be trained to be indoor only - it must be supervised. All members of the house must be in agreement, and understand about keeping doors and windows closed. We are happy to re-home to a flat but, likewise, this means windows closed and no balcony access, unless the balcony is totally cat-proofed (netting all the way), same is true for roof terraces, so that they cannot drop to their death.

2. Unless otherwise stated, we do not re-home to children under 8 years old. If there is nothing stated to contrary, assume the cat cannot go to a child under eight. For other cats, please also bear in mind that some cats may also be found to be unsuitable, even for children over 8. WE DO NOT HOME WITH PEOPLE PLANNING CHILDREN, AS SO MANY CATS ARE GIVEN UP JUST BECAUSE CHILDREN ARRIVE OR CATS DEVELOP BEHAVIOURAL ISSUES AFTER BABIES ARRIVING

3. It is a requirement of our adoption policy that lifetime insurance is obtained and maintained for every cat adopted. We provide 5 weeks free insurance with every adoption, but the original policy may not suit you and as we are not financial advisors you should seek out the best and appropriate insurance to suit your own needs.

4. Most cats are in Greater London, Essex or Worcestershire (an hour from Birmingham), with some fostered further afield like Durham at times. See each listing for details - if not detailed it will be Greater London, London or Worcs. Cats cannot be adopted by public transport - you must be able to collect by car or get a taxi home from fosterers home (many get a lift or get a taxi home with cat and things). If you are happy with the above criteria and want to enquire further or reserve a cat, please email.
