Herbert is now safe having come from a very abusive home. He is nearly 1 year old but in his short life he has witnessed a lot of abuse, as a result he is extremely nervous at the moment.  His owner has had to go into a refuge for her own safety.  She went back to the house to rescue Herbert before he was in danger.  He needs a person who is patient to gain his confidence and trust.  He would be suited to a quiet home without too much going on, probably a home without children as they may be too boisterous for him.  He is a lovely boy, but at the moment very shy as we really do not know what he has witnessed.  He needs a lot of TLC, when he gets this and his confidence is built up again he would make a lovely companion for someone, He deserves a new life where he will feel safe and never be afraid again.  Lucky for him his owner risked herself going back to the home to rescue him and had the good sense to call us, not sure what would have happened if he had not got out of the house!
