Mr Mcgregor
Mr McGregor (AKA Greg) arrived into our care as a long term stray in May, sadly no owner has come forward. Over winter he was turning up with his coat all frosty and frozen. He was always very wary out on the streets, so he took some time to gain his confidence with one of his feeders before he started to come inside, which is when we were contacted.
Greg has come out of his shell since arriving in our care. He loves attention on his own terms, and is sociable, but will let you know once he has had enough by walking off and hissing (he has not swiped or scratched, it's just a part of his character). Greg also loves to have a cuddle in bed, and loves to sleep next to you. Greg doesn't entertain playing that much, he is more of a lazy chap who loves to just laze around. Although, he will let you know when he is hungry by giving you the squeakiest of meows.
Shortly after arriving into our care, Greg was of course neutered and microchipped. He was also tested for FIV & FeLV, sadly he is one of our FIV+ boys. Like most cats with FIV, Mr McGregor doesn't show any symptoms of being FIV+, he is a happy and healthy boy. As Greg is a long haired cat, he will need an experienced owner who will be willing to groom him regularly. He is also looking for a quiet household, with no other pets, or children.
