Marmot - RESERVED
Marmot is a gentle and sociable tabby and white girl looking for a loving forever home without any young children.

7.5 year old Marmot has hyperthyroidism and is currently receiving treatment for this through daily medication, but her adopter would need to be able to give her pills (currently once per day) , be happy to monitor her weight at home and take her for health checks to monitor her health, which would include blood tests. Hyperthyroidism is a common condition that mostly affects senior cats; with the right treatment cats with hyperthyroidism enjoy a good quality of life and a very good outlook. Our adoptions team would be happy to discuss this with you further.

Marmot will need to have outdoor access in a safe location, ideally a network of back gardens to explore away from busy roads. All our outdoor cats will need to have a catflap fitted at the back of the property within a month of adoption, as any cat going out will need a way to have easy access back into the home. We recommend a microchip catflap to avoid any unexpected visitors!

Even if it becomes a preference to toilet outside, like any cat who will have access to the outside she must always have access to a litter tray inside for her urinary health. Outside access is of course only after a minimum of six weeks in her new home.

Marmot is being fostered at our rehoming hub in Abbey Wood, SE2.

Before submitting an adoption enquiry it is important to ensure that you have read our adoption info page: Adopting a cat from Catcuddles.

Our priority is to match felines with homes that suit their needs, character and long term requirements. Please be aware that when particular cats receive an unusually high volume of enquiries, our dedicated adoptions volunteers may only be able to pursue the most promising. We appreciate your understanding.
