Hello, my name is Agnes. I came into the sanctuary after my owner sadly passed away.

I am a friendly girl who enjoys a fuss but can be a little temperamental and will let you know when I have had enough with a hiss and a swipe. I came into the sanctuary VERY overweight- weighing a massive 7.6 kilograms!! I have been on a very strict diet and have now lost around 3 kilograms! Although I am now a good weight and in good shape at last, my new owners will have to promise to keep me on a diet and monitor my weight throughout my life. Although I really love my food, I know that I need to stay healthy to avoid life threatening illnesses that come with being severely overweight! My carer hopes that now I am a sensible weight, I can hopefully live a long and happy life now. This definitely would not have been the case if I stayed as I was!

I am looking for an adult only home due to my temperamental nature and prefer a calm, quiet environment. I would prefer not to live with other cats or dogs. I was allowed to go outside in my previous home so I would like to have access to outside once I am settled in my new home, however I cannot live near any busy roads or railway lines.
