Rosie

Rosie is our lovely 18 year old lady. We are looking for a permanent foster home for her located within our homebase area of the North East, Newcastle/Walkergate area. The reason for this is Rosie will be having monthly injections for her arthritis. Rosie is on a special diet, firstly because she was in renal failure (this has improved massively since we began treatment) and secondly she needs to keep losing weight to ease the pressure off her joints. Rosie has a joint medication everyday too which is just mixed with a bit of water or wet food juice and syringed into her mouth. She is used to taking this. All food and medication is provided for by the charity. Rosie is a sweet natured old lady, she isn't a lapcat but does like coming for strokes and lying near you. She spends the majority of her time resting, it isn't easy getting older! She sometimes growls at her food, who knows why but it is quite endearing. She may flash you a tummy to be rubbed but don't be fooled, this is when she gets playful and the claws come out! She isn't vicious, just cheeky. If you can give Rosie the love and care that she deserves for the remainder of her life, however long that may be, please fill in the following form. It is truly rewarding fostering those most in need. https://helpingpets.org.uk/adopt-a-pet (The form does say adopt but this is on a foster basis, Rosie will still be a Helping Pets cat, the form just has all the required details on)
