Freya
Freya needs a loving home!! Freya is a 5 month old kitten who has Manx Syndrome. This has affected her pelvis as it is not attached to her spine. She can limp occasionally as a result due to the fact she is a very acrobatic kitten and her determination to live a normal life means that nothing holds her back. Freya's nerves to her rectum are also affected, she has no sensation or tone to her anus. This has led to a partial prolapse but is currently stable on steroids and does not need treatment. She does use the litter tray for wee's and poops but can be slightly incontinent with faeces at times if she gets a bit loose. This has not happened for some time and she has been in foster for 3 months. She can also get a slightly dirty bum at times which needs a wiping. We have no idea how long it will take us to find the right home for Freya as we realise she has fairly extensive problems but there may just be a person out there who is prepared to take her on (warts and all). Freya is a high energy girl, who does get up to a lot of mischief. She loves to play and can be quite rough with her teeth and claws. For this reason cat savvy people and no young children is recommended. Freya loves other animals and is fearless. She is great with dogs and cats. As she is so quick and acrobatic, she would need to be placed with very cat savvy dogs. Freya is a friendly girl who loves cuddles, she has been like a little shadow since we lost Fly and we feel this is the right time to start the search for a forever home as our vet thinks she is as stable as she can be. Freya is spayed, chipped, 1st vaccination, deflea'd and wormed and in foster in Melling. Please call us on 07952017696 for any adoption enquiries and leave a voicemail.
