Nikita
Sarah says -

I'm currently fostering Nakita on behalf of Claws cat rescue, she came into my care on 26th September. she has had 2 owners, the first had her for just over a year but said that she couldn't handle her. The second family that took her in were fine with her, but their other cat wouldn't take to her, and just hid in the cupboard for weeks.
It took her about a week to start to be a little friendly with me, she comes across as feisty and angry. She isn't food motivated, but is motivated by playing with balls, string, tin foil, cat nip toys and anything new to investigate.
She is very intelligent and craves anything new to do. I have 3 cats and she is a little wary of 2 of them as they stand up to her, the 3rd cat is very timid and she tends to chase her round the house. I think with time she would be fine with other cats, but the cat will have to be fairly strong willed.
She loves a stroke, but is not keen on being picked up. You can pick her up and she grumbles and can be vocal but she has never bitten or clawed me when I've done it. She is very vocal and appear like she is angry, but I think that is partly just her voice. She does like a good chat.
I think she will be fine in a home where people are willing to be patient with her, I wouldn't suggest any young children or dogs in the house. Like I say cats with a strong personality would be fine. She is a lot better with me now she knows I'm safe, and will quite happily follow me around and get strokes. She definitely needs someone who will give her plenty of attention with playing, and test her intelligence.
She is a lovely cat and it would be nice if we could find her forever home.
