Consett Cat Rescue
Rehoming Cats & Kittens: Co. Durham
OTTER
Otter was born in the rescue within 24 hours of his mum arriving heavily pregnant.
However unlike his mother and sister Olivia, he is by far the opposite of standoffish.
He is far too friendly for his own good, always getting into trouble here, always getting himself involved in anyones business and making a complete nusiance of himself. If you pick him up he chatters away at you. In fact he is a grade A pian in the bum.
But despite his over friendly demeanour, any visitor will find he is very very shy indeedand so people are unlikely to meet the true "trip hazard" at the time and they will have to believe me when I say how ridiculously friendly and super confident he is once settled in a house.

He can live with other cats although we advise people to have no more than a total of 3 in any household.
He is not keen on dogs
He will be better in a home with older children as any youngsters could be a bit boisterous for him.
He is an INDOOR only cat although access to a secure catio or cat proofed garden is also acceptable but I will need to inspect that.

If you wish to meet any of our cats then we do ask people to read an information sheet before completing a questionnaire so we can assess potential adopters prior to any visit. We do expect people to be able to not only afford the adoption fee but be able to manage unexpected vet bills should emergencies arise. We also will ask anyone in rented accommodation to provide proof that their landlord accepts pets. We promote responsible pet ownership by having strict adoption policies.
